Excellent quality. I soaked it from mid day to 9pm, changed the water and soaked it again, till morning. I seasoned it with salt, black pepper, thyme and garlic and boiled it until tender. Then added more water, added potatoes and tiny dumplings, baby carrots, celery and grace chicken noodle mix, season to taste. Then cut up chunks of precooked ham and jerked turkey in another pot(I did two pots of soup from the 16oz pack) and seasoned with escallion. Yummy!! Great product!!

Ahhh, the flavors of home! Canned cannot compare with these delicious gandules. I used the InstantPot and cooked them firm, seasong Puerto Rican style like I like them. One pack was enough to eat 3 times and freeze 3 more containers with large portions for 4. More than value for my money, nutritious, high in protein and delicious. I'm ordering one more to have for when these run out.

This is the worst thing ever. It’s literally been 10 hours since I starting boiling these dry beans and they are still hard as a rock. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!Plus the bags are only half full and I seriously doubt I got my full 12 oz worth.I’m so disappointed it’s beyond words.

Excellent Gandules! Purchased 3 times. I can’t find canned or dried gandules at my local grocery stores. These are dried, but not old. They’re so fresh that a few that I planted have sprouted.
