Great investment, ready to install.
These temporary black out shades are amazing!!!The adhesive on them is great. They've been installed in my house for about 6 months now, and I've had no issues. And the black out fabric is really heavy duty. So, if you cut them to the correct size for your window and install them properly, they really do block out ALL light pollution. If it's bright and sunny in the morning, light will seap in through the sides no matter how well they are installed. But the morning light is gentle and pleasant, not jarring. My one criticism is that the are hard to cut down to size. Because the fabric is thick and stiff, you have to work really hard to cut through. I used a box cutter to cut through mind... And I needed at least a dozen swipes to get through. But I will say because the fabric is so stiff, they were REALLY easy to install. Just place and press... Easy as that.I would buy these again if I needed more.

UPDATE 1 Month: Love them but, the Adhesive came off!
Our window is 72 ish inches wide and we cut these two to fit side by side and it worked great. My baby was only napping for 30 min and I swear the day we installed these into her room it helped immensely! Also keeps it cool from the glaring sun.Update: 1 month later they both fell down due to the adhesive. The window faces the sun so it takes a lot of heat. I was disappointed they didn't last longer. I am going to try to tack them down or nail them in because she's been sleeping so much better with them! I would still get them again but had to take it down a star.

Good for the price!
Pro Tip: use painters tape to hold it together while measuring and cutting. I used a small handheld PVC hacksaw to cut then sanded the edges while still taped and ran a lighter over to get any frays. Looks factory cut. We had to stretch it out by hand before attaching to get enough length but overall happy with purchase. Blocks out sun really well and seems sturdy.

Length not as described in real case, also the clips won't hold
I ordered the 48 x 72 blackout one, and now have to return it.Pros:- Neat packaging- Really easy to attach to window/door frame, great 3M sticker adhesion.- Thick and perfect blackout effect.Cons:- Way shorter due to the folded design. As shown in the photo, this is how much it could cover a 72'' long door after two days of flattening and stretching with heavy items hanging at the bottom. I know the product description says so, but this is off by too much. - I got 4 tiny clips in the package, but they are too small for the thick material (only holds up 3-4 folds before clips fell and almost hit into my eyes). So I was only able to get ~1/3 of its full length up during day time.- Due to the thick/hard material (not fabric, almost feel like bend-y plastic), every time you fold it up, the flattening and stretching effort from previous day went into waste.

Best item i got on Amazon
This is a follow up to my 5 star review. They have become TEN star. I bought to get through hot Arizona summer until I got sunshades installed. Binhave cancelled sunshades, saving me almost $5,000. I am sticking with these $9 dollar per window shades. Thry state "temporary". Why?? These are far from being temporary. There is zero sign of fading. The heat retention is excellent. they have seriously helped cut electric bill What I did to make permanent. Tape didnt stick after a month. In the heat here i didn't expect it to. I got small molding strips and nailed onntop of tapped ebd of shade. Not coming down now. $3 strip of wood did 3 windows. The other thing was i made shDes fit snug in window from. Gave me zero light and heat in room, but now I can roll up shade and it stays. Live them, love them, love them.

Black Blackout Is Fantastic, if you cut it right.
I love this shade so much, that I'm giving it 5 stars, when it probably only deserves4-3/4. I cut the width of the shade with a box-cutter (NEW BLADE!) while the shade was folded, and the edge cut very cleanly. Then, I exposed the adhesive and adhered it to the wood frame at the top of the interior of the window and let it drop. It was much longer than the window, so I used a set of clips to hold it up to the sill.Although we live in an apartment complex that has lights on everywhere all night long, our bedroom was completely dark. I had everything else that emitted light in a drawer or under the bed, and we had the best sleep we'd had in years. Wakeless hours and fabulous REM sleep. This shade is a keeper for me. Admittedly, it's a bit of a nuisance to have to fold the pleats, because it's my contention that you can't easily put more than 7 pleats into each clip. With only 4 clips, the shade doesn't rise all that much. I tried using binder clips. They don't hold. You need the grips on the clips. To make a long story longer, I still love this shade. And I put up sheers and drapes over it. I 'll see if we can't get more clips, because it's a keeper for us.

Too difficult
Pros: they are light blocking and very sticky once appliedCons: even when trying to weigh the blinds down, they are so difficult to stretch there was a foot plus left uncovered of the bottom of the window. The adhesive part came off with the paper backing so I had to reapply it by hand which was a pain. They are also almost impossible to cut to size unless you want to use electric tools.Regular paper blinds would be half the cost and be so much easier.

A bit short
The product works well and I love that it keeps my room dark even in the morning making me want to stay in bed more. However it doesn’t fully cover the whole window so like the bottom part maybe like 3 inches isn’t covered so there is still light coming in, wish it was more longer in length

Not great but not bad
4 out of 6 had small holes throughout the blind surface, for 100 bucks its not bad... but you would expect a blackout blind to not have any holes due to manufacturing defects

Total blackout!!!!!! Finally
Did as it said. I've tried 2 other blackout curtains before these blinds and I have to say that I wish I had just purchased these first . These block everything out 100 percent just as it is marketed to ....unlike the 2 other brands of blackouts I've tried that really only darken the room more. Only thing I wish is that more lengths were available and that larger clips were also included with the small one provided so I could clip it all up at once with a clip on both sides.

Adhesive came apart after 2 days.
Waste of time, and likely can't return because I already cut it to fit my window. Save your money!

Started falling off after 1 week
After looking at the reviews I was hopeful this would work, got it to put in my living room (back of my roller blind) to help with projector. Installation was easy, I needed to custom cut to fit my window as I have a very large window and it seemed to be working fine for the 1st week. One day when I woke up the curtains were in the ground for my disappointment. Hoping to get a replacement or fix but won't recommend purchasing, look at alternative options.
