Great little locomotive
The locomotive arrived in great shape and I have no issues in the three days of use. Despite its size it is leading 6 freight cars. Difficult to get smoke but that is Bachmann’s issue. I also enjoyed seeing your web site.

Smoke oil
I have this for 5-7 years for 5 it run just fine but I add too much smoke oil. So every time before you add some you need to run it dry then put 3 drops in it then do the same after it is dry. It is a good gift for train people.

Nice Little engine
It is a nice little engine, and the smoke works, with enough patience. My Grandson insisted on a steam engine with tender!

A well made product. Quiet and reliable (like things used to be)
The second Bachmann 0-6-0 I bought. My layout has tight turns (15" radius) and this locomotive does extremely well. It's very quiet and I am in the process of installing a SoundTraxx decoder.Installed the SoundTraxx decoder. Very pleased with the outcome. Used a cell phone speaker (BisLinks® iPhone 4S 4GS Earpiece Speaker)Been operational for almost 8 months. No issues.

Good value steamer with smoke unit.
While not super detailed, this 0-6-0 is a great value for your $$. The smoke unit works but must be run at a high sorry to work well. It may be a good idea to convert this unit to DCC and put full power into the smoke unit to make it work better.

Smoke unit does not work
Just bought this for my son and the smoking unit does not work! The smoke oil ran through the train and got all over the track. NOT happy!
