John Boos ST6-3048GBK 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Work Table with Galvanized Base and Bracing, 48" x 30"

Really well made. Two boxes arrived and it was "some assembly required" to put all the legs an pieces together. One side had a long scratch on it which probably occurred during shipment but it wasn't bad enough to deal with exchanging it.Once assembled, it's rock solid and doesn't move. This thing is heavy and solid. We used it in the middle of our large kitchen as an eat-in chef's table sort of thing for in-kitchen dining and it works great, everyone loves it and it looks head and shoulders better than some of the cheaper (and some of the more expensive) options.Like any stainless table it picks up nicks and scratches but still looks really good after a lot of wear. I started using the 3M Stainless Polish on it occasionally and it looks pretty amazing (see review elsewhere).Not only would I recommend this, I'd buy it again in a second. Since it comes in various sizes, just make sure you get the right size. You can really only seat people on the one side and the 48" fits two people on good stools very comfortably and there is plenty of depth while seated.Great value, great piece, highly recommended.

I got the 36x36. Got it for the kitchen. Great table. Would highly recommend.

I read some reviews of the john boos work tables in other sizes and it goes for this one too. It's very badly packaged. There was clanking inside the box went my daughter and I carried it in. It was left outside the front door because I wasn't home for delivery. Needless to say I was holding my breath hoping nothing was damaged. I think I got lucky. There is a film protecting the table top but it's easy for the loose metals to scratch through and the box itself was pretty beat up. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Very sturdy and nice. I expect this will last for years to come.
