Brightness is good, but only on the electricity. When the electricity is off, it's very dim.

I had ordered a pack of 6 emergency bulbs at the price of 2994.Out of these 6 bulbs1 was not working. I had requested for the replacement and i m yet to get the replacement even after 3 days. I have chatted and called customer care multiple times and i have been assured that replacement will be delovered by 10PM.First of all, the product should be checked before packing and delivery. If still customer receives the defective product, the replacwment need to be done at the earliest. In my case, both of them are not happening. It is a total failure of Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. The bulb is working fine as it should but not exactly asI thought. I stupidly thought that it is like a usual emergency light, charges if I turn on the switch and lights up when I turn off the switch- NO, it is not like that.It is an inverter bulb. Plug it into a holder, turn on the wall switch, the bulb lights up (and charging starts). Turn off the switch and the light turns off as an ordinary bulb(and charging stops). While it is turned on, if the power supply goes off, then the bulb continues to light up using the battery. And it is noticeably dimmer in the battery mode.Now the question is whether it is any better than a usual emergency lamp? No, I think. An emergency lamp also gives light in power cut but it is portable and has a dedicated switch on it. This bulb has no other switch than the wall switch of power supply and it cannot be taken anywhere from the holder. Then where does it find a use? One instance is, if you want to put a light AT NIGHT somewhere and leave the place or if you have a light outside the house and want it to work the whole night uninterrupted by power cuts.Unlike an emergency lamp, the bulb will get charged ONLY WHEN it is turned on/lighting which also limits it's use to night time.The bulb is a branded one and has that quality, it is the usage limitations that made me thought of giving one star less..
