This is a book with great info throughout but it goes back to a time when there were a number of more different styles of poker that you don’t see anymore. Texas Hold ‘em is do dominant. It is covered nicely but not like most of us want as the Texas Dolly tries to be more comprehensive. Glad I took a used copy. Would have been a bit disappointed if I had went retail for this amount of info on Texas Hold’em.

Best book I've read on Texas Hold Em. A lot of solid strategies and well thought out techniques that the pro's themselves use. Doyle not only shows you the techniques, but also tells you how he got to where he is today and the trials and errors behind what he is teaching you. This book not only covers Texas Hold Em but pretty much every type of card game you'd want to bet on, with winning strategies and techniques behind them all. If you're interested in Texas Hold Em at all (or any of the numerous other games covered in this books pages) you should absolutely buy this book. It will elevate your skills and make you a real terror at the table on your buddies next poker night.

Great book, I love it.

But it drons on and on and on. I mean 605 pages way 2 much information.

Great book for an experienced amateur. It can be a little difficult picking out the tips if you don't have some poker experience. The stories are great and some good tips to find that next level.
