Small Pet Select Nutri-Rescue (Fast Nutrition to Keep GI Tract Moving) (8 OZ Liquid)

Lifesaver. I’ve left my bun in the care of others, who, on multiple occasions, fed my bun too many treats or overfed her. This is my second syringe in three years and I can confidently say that this is a tried and tested product that has saved me from multiple vet visits and has thankfully saved my bun’s life. Today, i’m writing this review because my bun was not feeling well—she was drinking too much water and was cooped up in a corner (not like her usual jumpy self). I gave her some medicine, and NO LIE, she was back to her usual self two hours later. I’m still monitoring her eating and giving her special feed, but I wanted to take a minute and share just how well this has worked for my bun. I’m eternally grateful. Thank you!!!!!!

This stuff is amazing, it saved my little bunny's life

Bunny girl loves it. She’s an elder bun at 11 and recently had a bout of stasis. She loved this stuff. Perked her right up and helped her appetite return. So glad I bought it to have on hand. It tastes like banana frosting so perfect for syringe training your fur babies to learn that good things can come in syringes.

This product helped our bunny when she was already in GI Stasis. She was blocked and couldn't poop. After we gave her infant Mylicon for bloating, we gave her Nutri-Rescue. It has a lot of oils and it must have moved the blockage because she had a bowel movement. The next morning, we gave her another dose of Nutri-Rescue. This time with no blockage, it caused her another blockage and Diarrhea of some sort and she went into GI Stasis again. The ingredients are not good for regular use. I just gave it to her because she loves sweets and she had a lot of Critical Care with only 3 flavors. This product is not good for rabbits with sensitive tummies to begin with or on a bland diet.

This was horrible- I got this to help our sick bunny. This has cow milk in it- bunnies can not have milk. We gave him a dose when we first got it, and he had massive diarrhea. I then realized the product was cow milk base. Do not sell as a herbivore pet recovery. Luckily, we found a powder critical care formula for bunnies that works amazing, so he is doing much better.

The ingredients list on here doesn’t show milk but it is in this product and smells like a cake. I am very upset Small Pet Select would advertise this for guinea pigs considering they can not have dairy products.

This is basically like getting an ensure or Carnation instant breakfast but for a rabbit. The reason it works so good is because it’s full of fat and other things rabbits need if they are in G.I. stasis. When a rabbit goes in G.I. stasis its body actually goes into keto. Do you know the diet that everybody is on to lose weight. What keto does is it burns up the fat that is stored in your body. That’s why rabbits don’t eat they’re living off their stored up body fat. To get their G system working again what they need is multiple things including oils that are made to create fats such as coconut oil. That’s why it’s the first ingredient. You only have to give a rabbit 5 mL twice a day. You can still do critical care if you want to. But this is so much easier quicker and it happens to taste like vanilla cake really good vanilla cake. I think this product is wonderful and everybody that owns a bunny should have a bottle of this.

Saves a rabbit life every rabbit owner should own one

Good product, my chinchillas love it. I just give them a small amount daily as treat, like 1-2 ml per chin per day. At least all of my chins do not have diarrhea, maybe some sensitive herbivores cannot drink it. Besides nutrition, It helped two of my chins learn to use the water bottle as the flavor is attractive to them. Anyways I would buy it again.
