Great Book for All Those Applying For Residency
I used Dr. Freedman's book to prepare for my residency interviews and I found it to be extremely useful. This book is to the point and doesn’t waste your time. Interviews are most important part of your residency application process and this book will guide you on what you should and should not do during an interview. I used it to prepare for my 2014 Residency Application and I felt very comfortable during my interviews and as of yesterday, I matched.Dr. Freedman will guide on what questions to expect, ask and how to prepare for them. She has sample Q&A in the appendix with analysis and those were tremendous help. My advice, use them as guide and prepare your responses ahead of time (may be on word document) and review them before you go for your interview. Also, make sure that your responses are in line with your ERAS application and personal statement. Good luck everyone!Thank you Dr. Freedman!!

Very good
I received this book 2 hours ago and I already read it.Pros:I strongly believe that after reading Dr. Freedman's book you will be better prepared to any situation you might find before, during and after the residency interview.Short and sweet, all relevant information.Cons:Overpriced for the amount of information.

Good book in its own (well, kind of), but you probably don't need it.
It's a well written book, at least in terms of organization, even if not in content. But after reading it and having been through interviews, I can say that you don't need to read a book for Residency interviews.Interviews are just plain, personal talk where the faculty wants to know you. This book actually makes it an academic exercise, which is actually kind of wrong and may hurt your chances. Just go through NIH webcast for some interview etiquette and tips. Talk to people (for IMG's: American people) and faculty, if possible. That's it.And on the day of interview, just pour you heart out. Tell a story about yourself. Don't list your academic achievements. Talk, with decency and politeness, like you would talk to a friendly stranger in a park . This is what they want to hear, not framed answers like this book teaches you.

This is an awesome book when you want to prepare for the interview
This is an awesome book when you want to prepare for the interview. I tried to ask the same exact questions on my real interview and everyone was happy and surprised with my level of preparation. Will definitely recommend it for every one who got an interview. It gives you all the things that you need to know in one book.

understandable and to the point
This book helps medical students who have close to zero knowledge of what to expect from medical interviews. This book helps bring some sense of security to future interviews to come and what to expect for US and IMG graduates. Also includes some typical interview questions and the basic outline of the interview and what interviewers are expecting of interviewees.

Over priced! Just not worth it!
I was excited about my interviews and wanted to prepare well myself for them so I bought this book only to get disappointed when I got it. It has very little content small and I read it in half an hour. Overpriced!!!Most of us in the last year of Medical school are in poor financial situation; however, are willing to go beyond our budgets one last time to prepare for interviews by purchasing prep books. But this book is not worth the price. It should not be more than $10.I recommend you guys to search online for lots of free material and info on possible interview Qs and how to prep for interviews. I found most of the content of the book by reading couple articles on interview preps. Any good book on interview preps (professional schools, med schools or even job interview books would suffice if ur still planning to buy a book).
