8 gram is the size of each humidity pack, not the volume it can handle. Each pack can control the ambient humidity of containers up to 1 gallon in volume.

Q: Do you take them out if the paper blue wrapper?

No. Just drop the blue packet into the container and seal it.

Q: How long do these take to work? I have have them in mason jars and they don't seem to be rehydrating anything.

A typical 32oz mason jar will reach 62% +/- 2% within 2-12 hours, again depending on the size and original humidity of the container. In terms of rehydrating the contents of the jar, this will vary based on density of flower and initial moisture levels.
