Rimmel Jelly Blush, Melon Madness, 0.19 Oz

I truly have been enjoying this product!!A small amount of the blush goes a long way, the colour is vibrant and not over the top. You can build the colour if want a more dramatic look or keep it simple by giving you a natural look. It very easy to use and goes on very smooth. I happy very with this product and I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended !!!

It feels very oily on the skin. It could also use different packaging.

This is a very soft, creamy, almost fluid like blush in a tiny screw top glass jar. It's soft enough that mine came shifted to one side just from being in transit. It does have a foil lid under it's regular lid that is extremely hard to get off and actually I never did get it off all the way and still have a foil rim around the edges. I liked the color, it was a soft mid range pink, not as melon-y as I thought it would be but more a rose pink in my opinion. I don't really care for make up items you have to stick your fingers in to use but there is no other way to use this product, it won't fit a make up sponge so in order to get it out of the jar you have to use your fingers. I feel like aside from getting it into my fingernail every darn time (and I have short nails, if you have long nails look elsewhere!) it's also asking for bacteria to be transmitted into the mix and that bothers me. But it does go on easily and blends well and actually has a rather sheer look to it (almost like a stain) though it still adds color. I like it, but I would prefer it be in a squeeze tube and with it's thin texture it could easily have been packaged that way.

Save your money. This little gel pot looks beautiful in the pot but once you put it on- it’s like magic! Poof and it disappears. I got the melon shade.

Buildable gel that is more of a liquid than other gel products I have tried. Melon Madness is too orangey for my fair skin but may be better suited for warmer undertones than mine. It blends well but I found that it darkened as it dried so build slowly and let it dry before adding more. Overall, I think I prefer creams to gels so this one won't be a repeat purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by this blush. It is a jelly type gel blush that is applied with your fingertip. For me, this goes on easily and provides a nice, subtle hint of color that can be built up if desired. It also blends well and lasts all day. I really like the Melon Madness color - it is not as orange as I expected, which would limit my other makeup color choices. This works if I am using warmer color tones, like corals or browns/neutrals, as well as cooler tones like pinks and purples. This is comparable to my more expensive department store gel blush.Makeup is very subjective and I see that reviews vary widely here. But for me, this is a good blush and a great value.
