I started working with the pattern the day it came. The idea that the body is the same print as the pants and sleeves is awesome. The skirt is separate from the body so can be taken off. The sleeves and pants are sewn directly into the body. I also ordered cosplay wigs to use as hair in vibrant colors INSTEAD of yarns! My grand daughter is 18 months old and just started playing with "her babies". I am planning on making 1 for every day of the week in a different color scheme, and embroidering the day's name on them.

As you can see, I modified the pattern quite a bit. It was the most difficult sewing project I've ever done. I probably won't make any more of these! However, my granddaughter now has a dolly with a jumper like she and her sister both have and greatly appreciated the gift.

The instructions need to be modified and made a lot simpler. Wish there were more choices offered for rag dolls this complicated. The overall result was beautiful once I found simpler ways. For example, I spent more time on the bow and sash. Could have just used a small scrunchy. The end result was fantastic! A First birthday doll for my first granddaughter. The materials make the difference.

I made a doll for my 2 year granddaughter. It came out beautifully! Easy to follow instructions in this pattern. The doll is quite lovely and holds up well to play by a 2 year old.

My first attempt at making a doll. Pattern easy to follow. I did shorten the dress after, but otherwise, am pleased with the results and recommend this pattern.
