I ordered a 7 3/4 hat, and it was just too big on me. I measured my head circumference, and it came out to just between 7 5/8 and 7 3/4, so I thought I'd err on the larger side. That was my mistake, because it was just way too big on me. I gave it to a friend with a larger head than mine, and I ordered another in 7 5/8! That's how much I like this hat. It's wonderfully constructed, nice mid-wale corduroy, leather band, structured but not stiff like a military hat... in short, it's just right.One thing to be aware of -- the top part is a bit wider than you might think. This is basically a deconstructed military-style hat. It's not a typical cabbie/newsboy hat, so be prepared for rather a big hat on your head. That said, it is just beautiful. The color is muted enough without being drab, stark enough without being garish. I'm generally quite happy with my hat, and I look forward to wearing it for years to come. Oh, and this is not a hot-weather hat. This is definitely a hat to wear when you want a little extra warmth. It's not an extreme cold weather hat, but it's also not a summer hat.You're thinking about getting this hat, aren't you? Just go for it. Wear it with a jacket and collared shirt, maybe a loose-fit tie. Wear it with a leather sport coat, or maybe with a funky military-style topcoat. Don't wear it with a t-shirt and shorts -- that would be an insult to this beautiful hat. But most of all, wear it with pride and confidence. You know you look good in this hat, so just own it and walk with your shoulders back and head high. You look good.Oh, and the seller was just top-notch: helpful, communicative, courteous, and kind.

My order was delivered on before the day of my birthday. Thanks a lot… and the shipping was very fast. The hat is very comfortable, and stays all day on my head without an any issues. Not too big nor not too small. I believe that it has a great craftsmanship, and value for money. I am satisfied my purchase.

Came just a tad small. Hard to get something perfect when your ordering from out of the country, But it isn't so small that it isn't workable.. It is well made and of very good materials. In regards to being a John Lennon style, it is very close. I don't think John's hat was made of cloth. I think his was leather, but I could be mistaken.

I love how it looks, fitting and conforming perfectly to my head. Although I had expected the materiel to be thicker, and therefore warmer, I am not at all disappointed. Very stylish hat for playing on stage. Thank you for the quality you put into the hat. I appreciate the quality of old world european craftsmanship!

I had a huge surprise in the mail today. My Lennon Cap from Sterkowski arrived. I wasn't expecting it so soon. My gosh it's a beauty not a flaw on it. It fits great and looks amazing.Lightweight and beautiful craftsmanship. I look like an old sea captain with my long grey beard. Only 18 days from day of order from Poland to me in Northern California . I can't wait to show my children and grandchildren. Will definitely check out other Sterkowski hats. Yeah...yeah...yeah !!!

Beautiful materials.Worth much more than what I paid for it.....no doubt in my mind!!I bought another hat here on Amazon. Ordered about the same time as this Sterkowski. Made by a different company & cost much less. The difference between them is staggering!! I'll NEVER again be content with, or EVER be able to wear "cheap hats", EVER AGAIN!!Thank you Sterkowski!! The hat I received was very nice, but the size 61 CM was too big. I own hats made in USA, ITALY, Spain, Greece, Great Britain, and France. All these countries 61 Cm hats fit me perfectly. So, I am guessing this must be a POLISH size 61 CM hat. That's Ok, since I'm glad I only bought one, and will never buy anymore hats from that company again.

A recent convert to the wearing of caps, I was delighted to discover Sterkowski their history and reputation for quality. I took a gamble on the purchase of the John Lennon style cap, not sure if I'd feel too self conscious about wearing it. My gamble paid off, I adore this cap and have worn it daily, even indoors! Speedy delivery, boxed and packed well, the cap is beautifully crafted, fits perfectly! I bought another different cap at the same time and they arrived in the same box, I love my blue cap so much, I've not worn the other, besides trying it on and appreciating the outstanding quality.
