OGX Organix Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo, 385ml

While searching for products that are not tested on animals, I took a chance on this brand after reading the amazing reviews here and was blown away by its awesomeness. After discovering how wonderful OGX Shampoo, Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen, 13oz , (OGX) Organix Conditioner Biotin & Collagen 13oz , and OGX Weightless Healing Oil Mist, Thick and Full Biotin and Collagen, 4 Ounce are, I explored more of their products. Truthfully, I'm not that great with my hair and have never really been. I've put it through hell and it shows. However I recently changed all that. It has been an adventure to see what improvements can be made with a few tweaks. One of my tweaks was picking up this wonderful conditioner as well as the other products from this brand. I also started using Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mount 10,000 Gallon Capacity Filtered Showerhead, Chrome Finish (it is a MUST if your hair sucks and you live in a place with hard water), invested in a Babyliss Pro BABNT5548 2000 Watt Ionic Nano Titanium with Integrated Ion Generator Hair Dryer , and picked up more of the right tools. On to the review: I love, love, love how soft and pretty this conditioner makes my hair. I leave it on for 3-5 minutes a few times a week and have seen great results. It has a creamy, gourmand fragrance that is more sexy than fruity or floral. Although I love the fragrance and would not mind it if it lasted longer, the fragrance quickly dissipates. With continued use of this conditioner I can see my ends becoming less frayed and more sealed. This conditioner made my hair sleek and slightly heavy so it's great if you're going for a polished blow out or straight look. If you're going for fuller hair, bouncy curls or doing something up, definitely try the Thick & Full volume products from this brand. They're outstanding. As far as the price, I bought it here on Amazon for $5.62, which is about what it goes for in stores. I've never seen it sold for less than $5 which, considering how great it is, is a steal and a half. Please note: I don't use the shampoo with this conditioner. I use OGX Shampoo, Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture, 13 Ounce instead because I didn't want the keratin oil products to weigh my hair down. The Sea Mineral Moisture is great and the two balance out together well.

I love this shampoo. Look, I'm a 57 year old guy with a thick head of hair. Luxurious, shiny, nice looking hair. And I'm a little vain (heh). I've gone through probably thirty different shampoos and conditioners in my lifetime. Prell and pHisohex (!) back when I was a kid. Just plain soap. Herbal Essence. Suave. VO5. On and on. This shampoo is different. My hair is clean, but not 'squeaky' clean - to that point that you know it's getting completely, viciously stripped of any protection. The keratin and argan oil give a nice, mild conditioning quality to it. There's that phase when washing it out that it has that 'slick' feel - there's conditioners out there that leave your hair feeling slick no matter how freaking long you rinse it. Hate that. Left with the flat mat of hair afterwards. And again, this is different. You rinse for a bit, yep, slick. But shortly thereafter, the slickness is gone - but there's also not that 'squeaky' clean stripped feel. It just feels ...nice. Natural. All I do is comb it out while wet, let it dry. Feels good. Looks good. Doesn't feel heavy. Doesn't get all 'tamped down' over the course of the day like conditioner tends to do. I use it five days a week. On the weekends, I use Suave 'Daily clarifying' which is one of those 'squeaky' shampoos - but not too. This is an _excellent_ shampoo.

The OGX brand carries a lot of various hair care products and I have used some off and on. Since hair contains keratin and this OGX shampoo is supposed to be a keratin replenishing shampoo. I tired it because I color my hair and the dying process can deplete hair of keratin. The shampoo is like a lotion in consistency and lathered well enough. My hair is limp and lank to begin with and this shampoo didn't do anything to address that issue. The 2nd day after washing my hair seemed kind of greasy without much body. Since keratin acts as a smoothing product this shampoo would maybe be better suited to frizzy, dry or coarse hair. Although, using keratin products too much can cause dryness or brittleness in some hair types. For my limp, thinning hair due to aging I prefer the OGX Biotin & Collagen shampoo with hydrolyzed wheat protein.

Used OGX Anti-Breakage+ Keratin Oil Shampoo, I'm so happy with the result , it's the perfect strength hair shampoo, it reduces frizz, with the soothing and conditioning argan oil that helps to prevent breakage. I'm in love with it, My hair feels clean and fresh and smells nice after using it.

This conditioner moisturises your hair and makes it soft, smooth,reduces frizz and adds shine to your tresses. I will definitely recommend others .

After a lot of research I decided to buy this conditioner for my dry and thin hair. Was using the Moroccon oil one earlier but didn't want to spend so much again. This looks like a great buy with similar results. The consistency is kind of thick so you can apply it well on your length. The quantity is really good, I'm really liking the product.
