Very easy to use and sharpens knives very well. My knives were very blunt having not been sharpened for a couple of years. I used these on all of them and they all were very sharp by the end of the process. It takes about 20-30 actions to get a really good edge but as I said mine were quite blunt. My only criticism is they is no instruction manual. There are some basic instructions on the packaging but I was not sure if I had to use all the slots for each knife. It was a bit of trial and error but overall I would highly recommend this knife sharpener easy to use and gives a good result.

After weeks of my teenage children moaning about how rubbish my kitchen knives are I bought this product.Read the instructions on the box (probably written by the company in the Netherlands the product is sold by) rather than the awful bit of paper that comes inside (probably written by the Chinese manufacturer).I have sharpened a pair of scissors and three knives in about 5 minutes. A true test for me is if a knife slices through a tomato and I can say success on all of them. I didn't try and cut the tomato with the scissors but they cut through kitchen roll paper really nicely.Note to self though - try to buy more euro made stuff rather than 'made in China'.

The sharpener is very sturdy and easy to use. So far very pleased.

Simple to use and does the job well

It does a job for about 15 times ov use, later on is very hard to sharpen a knife as it is loosing it's quality

I have sharpened all of my knives and they are as sharp as they were from the factory. I also have a whetstone, however I found myself using this more often as it is much quicker.

Once a good edge is obtained it is easy to maintain. May take two or three times to reinstate a sharp edge but Once achieved the sharpener makes it easy to keep.

This actually works, and i love it, cos I can do it with this.

Très bien, très simple d'utilisation, affûte tous les couteaux de façon efficace, en plus l'appareil n'est pas cher du tout. Il a sa place dans toutes les cuisines.

It works, sharpened my kitchen knives very easily and without strain. I like the handle and the rubber traction beneath so that it doesn't slip. My one issue is that after i sharpened my knives, I gave it a rinse and there is a space beneath that collects water and it’s a bitch to get it out. I had to shake it over and over to get all the water out. This could cause rusting or pools of water in a storage drawer. So, moving forward i will just clean it with a cloth.

Die Messer werden wirklich wieder ordentlich scharf , nur muss man beim ersten Nachschärfen ein wenig Geduld haben. Das schärfen erfolgt in 3 Schritten : Im ersten wird der Klinge der richtige Winkel angepasst ,im 2. Schritt gibt es die nötige Grundschärfe und im 3. Schritt wird die Klinge wieder richtig scharf weil der feine Schleifgrad dann damit entfernt wird. Sehr zum Vortel ist das auch Scheren damit geschärft werden können. Aber wie gesagt Gedukd ist beim ersten Mal angesagt da es so ungefähr 30 bis 40 Züge dauert bis die Grundschärfe wieder da ist. Aber die Geduld wird dann mit schönen scharfen Messern und Scheren belohnt.

Es hat bei mir etwas gedauert, bis ich raus hatte wie es funktioniert.Aber für Messer ist es wirklich toll, es gibt bessere, aber es reicht aus !!!Für meine Stoff-Scheren leider nicht geeignet
