Tactical Helmet NVG Mount Shroud Steel Sports Camera Bracket Base for Fast Helmet

I'll admit i was a little unsure of how well the fit and finish would be on such a cheap mount, but boy was i glad to find this and save a load of cash on the competition. To start, it comes in very basic packaging with no instructions. I bought this as a backup mount for my volunteer search and rescue kit mounted to our black diamond climbing helmets. The screws worked perfectly for this application but will not work on any kevlar helmets as the screws are too short. The optic arms fit very snug and have ZERO movement providing a stable platform to view from.

If you are trying to mount this to an actual helmet/kevlar buy something else. Screws are way to short

The shroud is very loose fitting and has a rather significant amount of wiggle/rattle make sure you have some tape or thin piece of foam to shim between the lid and the shroud

It seems to be a very solid fit very little play in mount ( I have original nortos mounts with more) a little black tape 0 movement. Good replacement for cheap plastic bump mounts.
