Great heaters, even better customer service
I purchased two of these in October of 2022. We had previous experience with a smaller version of these at our local livestock feed store to put in our chicken coop so we would have eggs year round. those two were 200 watt brooder heaters to keep our 8x6x6 coop warm. Later, we built a 30'x50'x16' horse barn for our horses, donkeys and goats. We wanted a safe way to keep our goats warm in the barn, so we bought two of these, with the thermostats, and a concrete blanket to go over their stalls. Concrete Blanket https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08FWKRX1K/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These not only keep our goat stalls warm throughout the winter, but they help keep our entire barn warm as well. With these in the two end goat stalls, and the concrete blanket covering all three goat stalls, these keep the stalls warmer by 25 degrees versus outside, and the rest of the barn 20 degrees warmer than outside. This winter, one of the plug in thermostats went bad, and in the meantime, I plugged both heaters into one thermostat, and contacted the manufacturer on their website. They asked for purchase date, purchase order number, and model, when getting back to me within 24 hours. I gave them the info, and they said they would ship another thermostat out immediately. They did, but shipment was struggling, but after sending it twice to me, I finally got it. I very much appreciate their effort and getting it to me. We needed it badly, and we got it back in service quickly. This is the kind of company you want to do business with. Last year, my nephew has an apartment he rents out over his garage, and he was having issues with keeping the apartment warm due to the high price of propane. I recommended these, and once installed, he found that they do a better job for the cost versus propane, and he has been using them since. We are completely off grid for our power, and at 400 watts each, and usually when running, they only draw 300 to 350 watts while warning our entire barn to 40 degrees. So if you have outbuildings to keep warm, a bathroom, or barn, I would recommend these.

Excellent heater for a small room, doesn't take up floor space, is safe to the touch.
I installed this heater in a newly partitioned room I built on a slab portion of our house, which was not readily accessible to the existing hot water baseboard heat system. The installation was relatively easy, although the mounting system with the Heat Guard is a bit clunky, and required using some hand tools not indicated on the directions. The description, as well as the installation instructions, both call out a minor odor of offgassing when the heater is first turned on, but this smell seemed to last for nearly a week.

Literally and figuratively stinks
First, this is not thermostatically controlled. It comes with a thermostatic outlet adapter instead. This adapter is bulky and since it's plugged in at the floor outlet, you have to get on your knees to adjust the temperature. It's also not very secure feeling in the outlet, so a slight bump and it will unplug (or worse, partially unplug). I unboxed and immediately noticed a terrible smell Like a cross between cow manure and poison. I assumed the smell would dissipate after it had been running for some time. I ran this on high in a 100 sq foot room for 48 hours. During this time, it was approximately 40 degrees outside. The heater never heated the room above 55. The smell did not change at all after 48 hours of running. This does not heat well and the smell is unbearable. I returned it.

Great heater option
We have an older house with an add on room of pretty good size but only one source of heat to that room. The insulation in the walls is minimum at best. This was an affordable option to heating that room without running the meter up. It actually produces a significant amount of heat and is out of the way. You can touch it without getting immediately hurt so it is safe around kids.

Decent product but Heater out gases when you fire it up.
Installs easily. Looks nice. Works. The thermostat that comes with it failed after a day. The unit out gases when you first fire it up. The smell is pungent ... similar to the smell you get when soldering wires, perhaps the smell of the flux. My suggestion ... plug it in the garage and let it bake out for day or so.

Good buy, easy install works well
Great for taking the edge off of a small room. I installed in a medium sized master bathroom that didn’t have heat, we didn’t like leaving the door open to heat and we often times forgot leaving a chilly toilet in the morning. :( It doesn’t make the room really hot but makes it comfortable and protects the plumbing in the wall as well. I think this is the perfect application as opposed to a larger room. It was easy to install (don’t even think it took me 30 mins) and works well with the timer. We also got the heat guard because we have a 3 year old but probably didn’t need it as the main unit doesn’t seem terribly hot. But better safe than sorry and it is still low profile. As mentioned in other reviews it does have a smell when new but it went away after a bit. My wife didn’t like it so I probably should have run it in the basement or garage for a few weeks first, but it’s gone now. Hopefully it’s durable too as it was a little pricey but if it is definitely worth it. The foil behind is a nice add, I thought it was going to be wavy at first but once it heated up it laid down nice and looks good.

LO TENGO CONECTADO DESDE HACE MESES Y SE ENCIENDE SOLO CUANDO EL SENSOR DE TEMPERATURA BAJA A LOS GRADOS EN QUE LO TENGO ACTIVADO. MUY BUEN PRODUCTO. COMPRARE OTRO PARA EL SIGUIENTE INVIERNO.
