If I would have known how many channels were still available for free, much less how easy it would be to install an antenna, I would’ve done this so so long ago. Ages ago. I barely paid attention to the install instructions, although they were so very easy. No long booklet of 15 different languages, simple steps that were very user-friendly and how to get set up quickly. The antenna itself is smaller than I expected, which I was happy about. I didn’t pay attention to the measurements listed. I thought it needed to be tall for a signal, I thought it was going be some odd looking thing I was going to have in a weird space out in the open. That could potentially look phallic. 😂 When in actuality, it is so small that it blends in with decor that I have around my television and you can’t even see it. I had no issues with having to find a spot for it to be a clear picture. The first place I put it. It worked perfectly with crystal clear reception. I don’t know if this is because I have windows in my living room, but I was just shocked and so happy about how easy it was to connect. The instructions say to have it as high as possible, so right now it is on a bookshelf, but, again, because it’s so discreet in size you can’t even see it mixed in with my bookshelf decor. These streaming companies that charge $90 a month JUST so you can see local news, I don’t understand how it’s legal according to FCC. Which, by the way, I checked, the FCC doesn’t regulate pricing of any kind for streaming services, nor what they offer. That’s another topic, but how is that legal? I’m currently on limited income and canceled all streaming services that aren’t somehow discounted by other membership, etc.. I also had some of my streaming services on auto draft and didn’t realize how expensive they had become. Ignorance is bliss, actually no it’s not. Even when I get into a better financial situation, I will not pay for those streaming services again. I’m able to watch local news, which means I can watch for the tornado warnings that I will have this afternoon. As opposed to some of the other “free live TV” streaming that shows “local news” for, yes, I counted, 22 other cities that mean nothing to my local safety or community. One time investment of $19, vs minimum of $89 a month. No counting the free coverage of some football games when the cheapest o found for just one sports channel was $20 a month. The only semi trick to setting it up was really based on my TV, and it had nothing to do with this product. Even then it just took 2 to 5 minutes of patience and reading through the e-manual on my Samsung. Hint: you have to find the feature that has your television search for all updated channels, no matter the connectivity. I also thought that I would have to change the source or input on my remote when I wanted to watch local TV from the antenna coverage, no it loaded into my TVs free channel lineup. So no flipping over even from source/input. Wish I would’ve done this years ago, and certainly will keep it no matter when better financial days 🙏🏻 come my way.

I purchased this antenna because it was recommended. Very easy to install. I programmed the channels I wanted and it works as advertised. I am very pleased with the reception. I took advantage of the magnet and attached it to the back of my tv. No big trail of wires. Everything is behind the tv and I can pick up 9 channels. It's great not paying for channels I wouldn't use.

This antenna works really well. My old rabbit ears gave me ~ 6 channels with the TV (Samsung LT24310ND) sitting on the kitchen table. With the same TV sitting in the same spot I got about 30 channels clear with no pixelating. Granted the old rabbit ears was sitting on the table behind the TV and the HIDB was clinging to the nearby door frame with its magnetic base. No special search for channels - just let the TV do its auto search for about 10 minutes. If you're wondering why only 4 stars, it's because the "new" antenna was clearly repackaged in the re-taped box with the plastic bag shoved in the box also, with no attempt to putting the antenna back in the bag. Shame on them.

I had a HD plug in set of high tech rabbit ears had nothing but problems watching football games always had to move it and in certain weather conditions it was bad so I figured for $20 I'd give it a try I was shocked when I opened it up it's only about 5 inches tall but it works fantastic don't have to move it but if you live in a bad area it has a magnetic base so you can stick it in a window or a metal front door, it's plenty long but you could always get a extension if you need to, I have a 75" Samsung 4K I put it directly behind my TV and I just watched both the NFL championship games and it came through in perfect 4K sound is perfect full disclosure I'm only 35 miles from all the local networks main antennas but for the price I don't know how you could beat this little BMF! Highly recommend 4👍 up!

I bought this antenna because I didn’t want to pay for cable but still wanted access to some local channels for sports and shows like Survivor. Setup was a breeze with my Roku TV, and now I can watch everything I wanted with no hassle. Works perfectly and makes cutting the cord so much easier; plus, it’s a really great value!

Great purchase! We cut the cable. We live in a suburban area. Image quality and sound are better than we expected. The channels that we like work great. Not going back to cable!

Picked up approximately 40 channels. Main network stations ABC, CBS WGN & Fox came in clear. However could not pick up NBC even when antenna was placed on the window sill. I am approximately 35 miles SW from the NBC broadcasting station in Chicago. All my windows near my 3 TV's face West but Chicago NBC tower is NE of my home. Returned antenna due to inability to pick up NBC.

Doesn’t really work well where I am. My local hockey team signed a deal with a local broadcast channel and it isn’t on my TV provider’s lineup. Sometimes this will pick up the channel, sometimes the channel completely disappears and I have to tune the receiver again. It was inexpensive and I got what I paid for. It’s small and the magnet is strong. The cable is RG59 so it’s harder to extend it and keep the signal quality. Would probably be good for an RV or camper.

My previous antenna works much better than this device. I would like to increase the number of channels but the opposite happens with this product. Not recommended.

Esta antena me parecía muy poca utilidad por su tamaño tan pequeño al mirarla fuera de la caja de embalaje, cuestión de tiempo para instalarla que fue muy rápido y me pareció bastante buena idea aberla adquirido la recomiendo por su alcance y sobre todo el excelente precio gracias

After cutting cable costs, I owned a Mohu antenna for 5 years. I have tried other antenna to replace it. This is by far the best reception & easiest to mount on its magnetic base . I face north away from the CN Tower and reception is clear picking up 8 channels. The most that I would ever watch CTV, TVO , Global ,City and Radio Canada all as clear even the best cable. I also pick up 3 ethic channels but do not watch them. If I still had cable I would have had to pay for them irrespective. The simple coaxial cable is so easy no need for a UHB port. I highly recommended this inexpensive product.
