Working guy says this is a working product!
Let me begin by stating that I did NOT get in on the deal to get a discounted or free product in exchange for a review, so this one is coming from someone that actually paid for these. I'm a paramedic, and have had a number of close calls either having my metal wedding ring get caught on something, or sliding off my finger inside sweaty gloves. I finally bit the bullet, and decided to get a silicone ring for work. Since every single silicone ring out there fits differently, and it's apparently forbidden by Leviticus to make one that fits true to size, I opted for the assortment that claims to fit 95% of men out there. I can't testify to the 95% figure, but there were two rings in my package that did, in fact, fit me rather well. (I normally wear a size 8.5 band, with my ring getting slightly snug in the summer as my hands swell a bit in the heat, and slightly too loose in the winter when cold makes my hands shrink. This will be important later, and on the test.) The package, a plastic bag that is totally appropriate for the product and price point, contains the advertised 5 bands in sizes 8-12. The sizes aren't marked, but you can easily tell which is which. Visually, the bands are attractive in a no frills kind of way. They have a nice matte black finish, with no visible logos, ripples, or excess material. Edges are nice and crisp, everything is square and even, and there's no variation in color. I found that the size 9 fit snugly but comfortably, and I'll likely be wearing it in cold weather, as my hands seem to shrink a fair bit during the winter months. The 10 is noticeably looser, but still needed to stretch a bit to get over my knuckle. It's far lighter than my platinum band, so I did catch myself checking to be sure it was still there for the first couple hours of wear. Once I adjusted, it was barely noticeable, apart from the fact that it stayed in place like it was supposed to. Working with the band on, the most noticeable thing was that it WASN"T noticeable. Nothing caught on it, it didn't slip out of place, and it didn't catch my gloves on scene. It seems kind of silly to recommend a product that stands out by not standing out, but that's what I'm doing. For my fellow public safety and/or military folks, this is a wedding band you can leave on all the time, and not worry about. It's nonreflective, chemical resistant, and heat resistant. If it gets caught on something, the ring breaks before your finger does, or it just stretches out and slips off. If it DOES come off, you're only out 12 bucks, and not several hundred for a precious metal band. You can pay more to get a different color silicone band from a different manufacturer, but there's no good reason to do so. This is a product that does a job, and does it well, and I for one, really appreciate that.

Great if you are active but too lazy to size ...
Great if you are active but too lazy to size your fingers. My husband needed a ring to cover a tattoo for a job interview. This did the job and we didn't have to know his size. I took one of the smaller rings for myself. They are so much easier to deal with than metal. We are rough and tumble and need something we won't cry about if it falls in the lake. I lost my first wedding band (my great grandmother's) in a river while we were canoeing. My husband lost his expensive one in a lake a few weeks later. We are a good match in that neither of us needs a wedding band made of precious metals.I did NOT receive this product free or at a discount in exchange for a review. This is the reason there may be a "Verified Purchase" label on this review. I have no obligation to leave a positive review and do my best to give feedback that will be valuable to anyone considering purchasing this product. I was neither paid nor sponsored for my opinions and all thoughts reflected in this review are solely my own. I personally rely heavily on product reviews to determine which products I buy. Because I know the importance of honest reviews, I give my opinion based solely on my personal experiences with the product. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer, not hype the product for the manufacturer. If you found any part of my review helpful, please make sure to vote "YES" in response to whether my review was helpful.

Purpose served, the good and the bad.
Purpose served - I have a ring on my finger and you can see that I'm married BUT the quality of the material the ring is made of isn't the best. My fingers sweat a lot during work so my skin peeled the first couple weeks, then around the third week the ring got a small tear. I still wear it, it hasn't broke yet and it's been a month or so. I'm gonna get my monies worth.. definitely a you get what you pay for scenario. Next time I'll probably order a different brand with a variety of sizes (I also liked that these came in different sizes bc I didn't know what I'd need) but for now 3 stars for this, just to keep it honest. Shipping was great bc I had prime! Packing was good too.

going one size down will be the best fit. With that in mind
Make sure you know your size! Pick one size lower. This is a 5 pack with 5 different sizes. This is really for you to try out something and see what fits. I wear a size 9 with the metal ring but with the Silicone I wear a size 8. Since the silicone is flexible, going one size down will be the best fit. With that in mind, just search for the packs that have 3 rings with the size you want.I'm happy I bought this product and I'm 4 days in (2/10/16). I wanted to try it because I got some nerve damage when wearing the metal ring and doing exercises and mountain biking. I didn't want to take off my ring and possibly loose it so I tried this. Instantly its more comfortable and doesn't cause pain when gripping a bar. it does grip some items instead of sliding like a metal ring but that's not a problem as it spins on your finger. This normally happens when driving. All active guys should try this.

It's a good set
I wanted to try using a silicone ring in place of my old gold one that didn't fit anymore. I work on computers and wanted a ring that doesn't conduct electricity. I like that this one came in several sizes to help me find the right fit. If you turn the ring inside out the sizes are written there so you can see what size you are using. Overall I like the silicone ring, I would prefer one that doesn't look like I'm wearing the tire off one of my kids toys. There are other silicone rings out there that look like they are made out of gold or silver. This one was good for me to see if it was something I wanted to do and to find what size in silicone works best for me.
