I’ve actually never smelled anything at all from prior catnip toys, but this kicker smelled SO strongly even after only taking it out of the Amazon bag, while it was still wrapped in another layer of airtight plastic! My cat started playing with it right away, though he hasn’t kicked it yet. The catnip crazies hit him immediately. It seems to be good quality with solid stitching and it’s about the perfect size for my medium-large adult cat. I can’t tell how thick the fabric is, but I’ll update my review if it ends up ripping. Overall good value, especially with the catnip potency.

You may think the package came damaged but you’d be wrong. My significant other messaged me while I was at work wanting to know what I bought that the cat wanted so badly! He was tearing the package to shreds! He absolutely loves this thing! If he isn’t fighting with it, he’s licking it or sleeping on it. He’s not one to be impressed with toys and is typically very low energy but not with this toy. Canadian catnip must be much stronger than whatever kind of catnip cat toys normally have because it drives him wild! It’s so nice to see this slug actually playing. Get this for your cat. He/she will love it and you will be very entertained!

For those who have a kitten that need to teeth- this is for you! My kitten at first showed no interest in this toy until he sank his claws and teeth in it. He now LOVES this toy to wrestle with before bed to chew/teethe on, to dig his claws in, and to do this infamous bunny kicks! Excellent size which he can keep for a long time. It’s really sturdy and shows little to no signs of wear despite him absolutely attacking it with all his might.🤣 An excellent purchase I would make again when this one gets worn down! 10/10 recommend 🥳 If you have one and your kitty is disinterested, try to get them to claw/bite it and they will be in love (and have a ton of fun!). I was hoping this would be the ultimate kicker for my cat and it is. He went for it right away, kicking and pawing like crazy. It is a very durable toy made with a heavy material to last long. I like the color and texture as well.

I bought two. My seven cats love them - worth 5 stars. Less then 24 hours, the end opened up and the stuffing came out from one - worth 1 star. The other is still holding strong after 24 hours. Time will tell how long the second toy will last.

On the first day, our 13-yr old furball loved her new toy. She even found the paper invoice that came inside the package, which was in a stack of papers on my desk, dug it out, and started playing with it. On the second day, she already seems kind of indifferent to it though. So, I've now hidden the toy it'll be a surprise every time I give it to her, and hopefully it will retain her interest.

I took it out of the bag and my cat ran in from the other room. I put it down for my cat to sniff, and he instantly ripped it out of my hands. I immediately purchased another because my cats definitely aren’t going to share. I’d say it’s a major success.

My cats go mad for this kicker. I keep it in a drawer and pull it out once in awhile, they love it.
