LED E14 Dimmable Candle Bulbs, Small Edison Screw, C35 SES Frosted Filament Light Bulb, 4W (40W Equivalent) Warm White 2700K, Pack of 5

Wanted to make mealtimes with more subdued lighting, but last bulbs wouldn’t dim. These do, and were good value for money.

Good product. Frosted glass so can’t see the LEDs. Bulb is dimmable however a sticker on the product packaging states “The wrong dimmer will cause the bulb to flicker. Please do not use incandescent and halogen dimmers. Varilight v-pro led dimmer is recommended.” I guess I have the wrong dimmer since the lamps flicker at some dimmer switch positions. I can live with that but wish this was made clear before purchasing. I don’t recall reading this advice prior to purchase. Check product description carefully.

I needed some E14 dimmable LED bulbs for 2 ceiling lights and the bulbs had to be "short" (a max length of 100mm due to the shape of the fitting) as I did not want the bulb to protrude beyond the shade. Finding shorter LEDs in E14 base and dimmable proved quiet a challenge, but Phoenix-LED helpfully provide the bulb dimensions in their listing. Chose these as they are frosted, so they give a more uniform light and the filaments are not so obvious when the light is on. They look great and provide a warm, even light in the room (I chose warm white, 2700K version). And they work perfectly with a VPRO dimmer ! I have not rated Longevity as these bulbs have been in use for less than 1 month, but I expect them to last a long time (especially as the VPRO dimmer has a "slow start" feature when it is switched on).

They are not dimmable

Very good value for LED bulbs - I will buy again if they last well. As per warning on the package, may flicker and not fully work with all dimmer switches so consider spending more money if you want security in this; but given the cost I am very happy with my purchase.

I got these lights fitted with an ordinary electrical switch and they worked fine. The box states that they are dimmable so I got an electrician in to fit a dimmable switch and the lights flash when turned on full and flickers when the switch is slowly turned up. I was very disappointed. Going to have to buy some new lights.

This bulb is marvellous, sensible brightness, energy saving and safety eyes protection

I bought this set of five bulbs at the same time as the chandelier shown in the photo, four of them work well, and with their frosted glass, are easier on the eyes, as they are on full view. Unfortunately the fifth one was broken in transit, so the chandelier has one odd clear bulb which I had spare. The other thing is the small Edison screw fittings are a not in line with the bulbs, giving a wonky look to them. I can’t comment on the life, as they have only just been installed.
