Quality product.
Most reviews online like to rave about KSM-66 but I tried two other brands and eventually come back to Superself Ashwagandha which actually works. Seems to effectively lower the stress hormone cortisol which is a godsend in busy times at work and just modern life/BS in general. Too much cortisol leads to lower testosterone which then leads to a build up of fat and eventually adrenal fatigue if left unchecked. Look up cortisol belly. Not good. If your cortisol levels are in check then Ashwagandha probably won't do anything for you apart from the negative effects listed below. I started using it 7 months ago with cordyceps and a good stack of multi-vitamins and minerals like magnesium and zinc. It's helped to mitigate food cravings and eliminate alcohol plus other unhealthy stress coping mechanisms. It's worth noting this doesn't come without potential downsides, when you're working out the body apparently needs an optimum amount of cortisol and adrenaline so you can achieve that extra push for those golden last few reps. So taking Ashwagandha before a session can make it harder or somtimes impossible to really get into it and push past the wall. Also cortisol is what gets you going in the morning so eliminating that with Ashwagandha can lead to poor performance and struggling to get motivated for the day. I found using this supplement daily for months killed all emotions which is sometimes called anhedonia and quite well documented with Ash. These issues are all easily remedied by tapering off or lowering the daily dose once you feel it working don't be tempted to just keep taking it or upping the amount. I usually take it in the evening as required and maybe at midday if I know its going to be a busy one but never before a training session.

Really Effective for Stress and Sleep
I want to give a full five-star rating to this Ashwagandha. Because of my hectic schedule, I was very stressed and couldn’t sleep properly at night. I’ve been taking it for more than two months now, and I can clearly feel the changes. My stress levels have reduced, my sleep has improved, and I feel more relaxed throughout the day. Definitely worth it and highly recommended!

I have had better but also worse. You need to take 2 tablets a day which is important to know. I was taking in morning which probably wasn't optimum. If I am honest I never finished the bottle.

Definitely seems to work with stress and mild anxiety
So I wanted to try and help people with my journey. I have had quite a stressful life I run a business, I can't remember the last time I worked less than 50-60 hours per week and I suffer with typical GenX Male syndrome. I think stress etc is real. I help anyone at work with anything like this but you know, it'll never happen to me!!! So, its catching up with me. So I have been calming things down, its not as bad letting go than you think!! But I need a little help. Yoga helps, excersise definitely helps, Less coffee, alcohol, work and stressing about stuff I can't really change and also eating better all help. BUT, I am definitely getting a little bit of anxiety symptoms. I tried 5-HTP and for 3 days it was quite good. It didn't calm me down, but I felt great. Why wouldn't you with a little extra Serotonin! But on day 4 I had really bad anxiety with heart palputaions all night so I stopped them and it went away in 24 hours. I have since found out that most people with stress/anxiety or depression don't in fact have reduced serotonin and as such if you make too much you give yourself exactly these symptoms. I imagine they work well for people with low serotonin, but not for me. So I tried Ashwagandha and I have had a good reaction to these. I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening and over the past week, I have genuinely started to feel a little like I am removing the stress and anxiety a bit. A couple of friends have mentioned that I seem a bit more relaxed than usual too whch is alwasy a good sign. Its not a "wow, bang, thank you mam" thing, its subtle and its growing and it feels like I am unpeeling layers and going back in time with my stress. I am hoping that in a few more weeks it will really start to give me that little bit of help that means I can start to really work on the stress. I would say don't give up, No-one understands stress/anxiety/depression. Just try stuff and see what works for you. So I hope this helps.

The most highly recommended purchase ever.
I couldn't recommend this enough! It's a total life changer. When I'm due ladytime my moods were horrendous... I was avoiding people and places. Feeling stuck in a rut I tried multiple recommend herbs, foods and exercise but nothing was working. Until I tried this after reading a blog online... the writer had indicated that it was this specific product that helped her, so I tried it and have been recommending it ever since. I only take it when I need it... when I begin to feel stressed or moody... and within an hour I feel so so so much better. Then, I thought I'd try H&B 500mg and felt 0 benefit, so I went straight back to these. Life changing
