I was initially skeptical about this due to the price, but we had our 2 previous orders cancelled for other bunk beds we chose, so thought of giving this one a shot. Well I am more than pleased. Its really good and sturdy. Assembling does require 3-4 hours and 2 people, but the instructions helped. We have been using this for 2 months now and its going good despite of kids jumping around on the upper bunk. Go for it if you are looking for something reasonable , sturdy and compact.

These arrived with no instructions. This seems like a common occurrence, and it would be helpful if the seller could upload a pdf of them here for all the other customers they let down in this regard. We managed to puzzle it through using the product photos and numbered pieces, but it took significantly longer this way. Very happy with the beds. Not sure the slats will last, but the bed has been in use for a few weeks now and no immediate quality issues. It looks very nice and is well finished, and will hopefully last years due to the fact it can also be separate beds. I also like the care taken to bend the ladder design to fit around the bottom mattress. A word of caution that the clearance on the lower bunk is nowhere near high enough for an adult to sit up in bed. You can sit on the edge of the bed, but there isn’t enough space to sit comfortably without the wood of the top bunk against your face. We’ve all had a lot of cracked heads on various parts of it, even my 3 year old. So I would say a good bed for young children, not so good for full sizers. My kids absolutely love it, they pretend it’s a big machine that they’re riding in.

Once it is up (more on that later), the bed is strong, attractive, well-designed and has nice finishing touches like bevelled edging and cleanly sanded faces - especially for the price. That said, having built many different "Purchase and Assemble Yourself Products" over the years, I consider myself pretty skilled when it comes to flat-pack... despite that experience, we found this one a challenge. And it took a good four hours to put together. Couple of hints, do not screw down all the lower-bunk slats (20) before affixing the ladder as the G-L bolts don’t go in otherwise, pay close attention to where the side supports for the top bunk (16 and 17) are positioned as the ladder only fits on one, and align the holes in 8a/8b with 9 carefully before tightening the G screws! In short, the directions were totally inadequate, but the finished product is perfect.

We bought these to solve the issue of our children wanting to share bedrooms on occasion but there not being really enough room for standalone beds. The sharer has now moved into the top bunk permanently. The beds are solidly made and, currently, cope well with teenagers. The only downside is that the top bunk is a standard single bed width so doesn't leave a lot of space on the bottom bed for headroom to the side of the top bunk. The plus side is that, when the beds are separated to stand on the floor, both beds are of good sizes to continue use as normal beds as opposed to bunks. We bought top quality memory foam/sprung mattresses for both top and bottom bunks. They are sturdy, went together really easily even without a lot of space to build them. The ladder can be fitted to either end of the bunk. We would recommend them.

Could this bed temporarily home a 5ft 11yr old and a 6ft 15yr old? Totally. Once built, this bed is solid as a rock. We needed a temporary solution until house renovations were completed and ended up assembling, disassembling and reassembling twice while both rooms were finished with barely any bother whatsoever. I'd recommend taking your time to study the instructions first (and keeping them if you end up doing what we did) and taking your time to build it. It's worth it in the end. Well worth the purchase. Thank you!

Would put 5 stars but only 4 as instructions could be a little clearer , really easy to put together , the ladder can go at either side , the double is a bit tricky as looks like it’s 2 tops but it does go together . Would definitely Recommend

Was really impressed with this bed and how solid it is, it went together easy after i stopped using the instructions as they are daft trust me ignore them. The only problem we had the support legs in the middle of the double bad are not as shown in the images they are a lot thinner 1 inch thick by about 3 inch instead of being square, but seller refunded some of money due to this as the company that made the bed did not inform them of changes, so all in al dam good bed.
