Great pump, great service.
I’ve used this pumps for years and they have always been quiet and reliable. The one I purchased before this one was March of 2023. These, pumps have a 5 year warranty. I searched dannermand there site actually has a phone number that people answer. Their customer service rep told me to send him a screen shot of the Amazon order. He also wanted a few photos of the pump and the tag that was on the pump body. Within hours of the info being sent they emailed me for my address and will send me another pump. The service is excellent. I will use the pump as a spare to swap out. Thanks Danner.

Great pump for outdoor tub with great flow rate
I haven't measured it or anything, but to me it seems like works as expected! Got for outdoor tub and even when the prefilter (screened) seems to be getting little clogged it still pumps thru. Even when prefilter was pretty clogged it still worked, but could tell reduced flow so new was time to clean the prefilter. It was easy to install with common PVC fittings from store. Comes with a damping pad. Recommend if using it with anything attached to the house to use the pad. Mine is installed for a tub on the deck. Could hear it while in the kitchen, so using the pad really reduced the vibration noise. Part of it might have been since tub was new addition to outdoor deck, just wasn't used to it. Cause I don't really notice it anymore. But use the pad.

Great for cold plunge!
This is my 3rd pump after having (2) active aqua pumps break (connection points). I use this for my cold plunge and its amazing, have had it for almost a year now with no issues. Very happy with it. I recommend using a thread sealant with it.

Poorly designed pump masquerading as high quality
I had this pump for a few years running critical aquarium equipment and was awakened by water monitoring alarms going off at 2am because this junk had failed. After messing with the system for what seemed like hours I took the pump apart to see what had happened. It turns out the plastic fixture that attaches the impeller to the magnets had snapped off. Why did it fail? Because the pump was designed with the entire rotational force of the impeller supported on a tiny plastic tube not much thicker than a drinking straw. I own much cheaper pumps that have a solid, ridged impeller/magnet design that have ran problem free for more than a decade. To be clear this is NOT an issue with the ceramic shaft that other reviewers talk about snapping, but the rotating assembly itself. Conveniently, the manufacture only offers a 1 year warranty on the impeller. (Can you guess why?)Other points of contention: This has got to be one of the loudest mag drive pumps I've ever heard, no matter how much you try to purge air bubbles out of the pump it always gurgles and hums unlike any of my other pumps. The impeller housing is also poorly designed as well, its fastened to the pump body with screws that are directly taped into the plastic and easily strip out, I guess they were too cheap to add medal inserts. Finally, On the box they claim to be "A proud American manufacturer" however in the small print it says made in CHINA. So what do they manufacture in America then? The packaging? Who knows.Don't spend your money on this pump or manufacture! Buy a different brand, For the price, you could buy 2 pumps that would long outlast this crap.

great lift
i have a small 5 gallon pond with a waterfall it runs 15 hours a day. i have had the smaller Dinner pumps they worked well giving me several years of service. this larger output pump has improved the esthetics of my water fall. The improved output allows for a increased water flow that gives a pleasent sound to the waterfall. If this larger pump gives me the durability of the smaller pumps it will be worth what extra in the price.

Works as described
Purchased this for the filter set up for a cold plunge and it works perfectly to turn the water over enough to avoid slimy alagae build up and cloudy water.
