I received the product in a timely manner via Amazon Prime. The product works very well and melts ice quickly. For the price of this it is a good value for a homeowner looking to treat their walkways and steps. The product comes in a nice 5 gallon bucket that is sturdy. I recommend this product for those looking to treat their walkways and stairs.

Works as intended. Keeps driveways and sidewalks clear of snow and slippery areas. Works fast and will see results within the hour. Great price. Environmental friendly.

Worth the price. You get enough for the entire winter. Works well and doesn't agitate my dog's feet.

This stuff is great to put down before the storm or just before. It makes it easy to slide the shovel along the ground and push it out of the way even after getting 4-6 inches. I can't tell safe it is for pets, plants and concrete yet. I will update this review if need be. I did use this brand last year but a different version and it worked well and had no effect on pets, plants, or concrete. This is tiny white balls with a little bit of what looks like little chips of clear and brownish rock salt. I hope it isn't. As far as packaging goes, this has to be the hardest bucket I've tried to get into. I tried cutting along the tear line with an exacto blade first. Too slow. I couldn't get a good grip on an end to pull the plastic off the lid either. Then I cut along the line with tin snips. This was faster. After cutting I pried off the cover with a chisel which was also slow going. The lip that is supposed to hold the cover on does not fit snug enough to keep the container airtight. So I will probably put some plastic wrap on it and hope for the best. Last year's bucket was in my garage covered tight from last year until our first storm this year. When I opened it it was pretty stuck together. But I was able to break it all apart without much trouble and it worked fine. So hopefully this bucket will be better if I have leftover from this year.
