Simple, good quality, just what I was looking for, for the price
I purchased this for a masquerade ball costume. I wanted a simple corset with a sweetheart v-shaped bottom to go over my puffy tulle skirt. It really helped to push down the bunchiness of the skirt and looks great! I also bought this in case I wanted to wear it in the future with other costumes, so I wanted one that was pretty plain that I could customize for different costumes.I was worried about the size as I read in the reviews. I am short and have small breasts, so I wanted something that would be tight enough to push up my breasts and squeeze some much-needed cleavage. I am 5'0" 125 lbs. I usually wear a medium in clothes. I bought the large and was worried it would be too small, but it was perfect. I am 36" chest, 31" waist and 38" hips. I was trying to decide whether to get the large or extra large, as some of the reviews had me worried about it being on the small side. I went with the large thinking that I'd rather the corset be too small and be able to cinch the lacing down than have a corset that is too large and baggy to where you can't cinch the lacing to get any tighter. Even though my waist right now is a 31", I have been 29" when I work out a lot, so I knew I could squeeze into it and have it be ok to be on the small side. I was right. The large worked out great. At first, it was very very snug and I had to extend the lacing past the back panel just to get it on. Then once it was on, I was able to cinch the lacing very tight and make it fit beautifully within the dimensions. No back fat was poking out!Once I got the thing on tight, I still did not get the cleavage effect I was hoping. I am a 36A in bra size. It did squeeze my chest, but it did not push my boobs out the top like I had hoped. Good thing I had some removable padded bra inserts from an old bra that I simply stuffed into the corset and it helped a lot. I like the amount of cleavage with the pads. I did not wear anything under the corset, although you could. I put a lacey tank top under it at first just to try it out, but it doesnt need it. It looks great and feels great with nothing on under the corset. What I like about this corset is the back panel under the lacing. It is a great feature. It is about 4" wide and it does not connect to the other side, so you could theoretically stretch it out as wide as you want past the back panel. The material is really nice and it seems to be really well made. I dont see any blemishes or "cheapness" about it. The metal buttons are really sturdy. The party is tonight, so I may update this post after wearing the thing for hours at a party. When I tried it on with my costume, I loved the feel of it and didnt want to take it off! It is very comfortable. This is my first corset.

Well-made, affordable corset (but order it in your size!)
This is a very well-made, affordable corset. This isn’t what you find in the back aisle of Spencer’s or in the costume section of your local sex shop. This is a solidly-made, lace-up boned corset. It can be used not only as lingerie but as outwear. I would recommend this for beginners as it comes laced and is easily adjustable.I purchased the corset a few days ago in anticipation of Halloween, to dress up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid in her Kiss the Girl dress. I was not disappointed. As I mentioned, this is a quality item and it added a level of realness to my costume that the official Disney packages you can get on Amazon or at Party City do not have. The corset is matte black, meaning it doesn’t have that shiny look that fake leather can have. The boning is subtle but still visible. My only warning to you is that if you decide to order this, be totally honest with yourself about your size. This corset, because it is boned, does not offer you any stretch. The laces in the back can be loosened some but don’t bet on that to give you more than an inch or two. If you do decide to loosen the laces, there is a black modesty panel that will cover the space so that your skin isn’t showing through the laces.I’m 5’ 8”, I weigh 225 pounds, I wear a size 16-18 in jeans, I wear a 38-40 D/DD bra size depending on the brand, and I have a long waist with an hourglass/pear shape and I ordered the corset in 5XL. While it does fit me, I would’ve done better to have ordered it in a 7XL, which I only didn’t do because I felt self-conscious about ordering something labeled 7XL.When putting on the corset, remember that this is an overbust style. If you start to put it on under your breasts, like how a waist trainer is worn, it is not going to fit you, even if you ordered the correct size.

Great Price, Good Corset, Poor Service
Service and Shipping: Customer service was never there to answer the phone and got back to me five business days after I left my message when I was trying to ask about sizing. I called back and still no answer. The product arrived on time, though with some small, dark marks, quite noticeable on the white (though removed by water and a washcloth).Size: The size I thought would be too small, (I'm 33"/24.5"/35") but really, when I tighten the waist, the sides touch, and I could actually have done with a smaller one and just had the laces loosened out to make room at bust and hip. It hugs tight when I pull the laces, though, good for the time I'll be wearing it, but it's not for heavy compression and shaping if you're my size. (For example, to get the shape suggested in the image, I would definitely need a size smaller to cinch it that tight at the waist. As-is, I cannot pull it any tighter.) The cups for the breasts are actually quite flat, which is excellent for giving you a little push and the top, and avoiding that terrible gap that happens when the cups bulge out too much. Good lift and smoothness at the top, and coverage even when I lift my arms.Overall: Despite the negatives, I do enjoy it and initially the plastic boning is rigid and smooth and the silhouette is nice. The metal clasps on front are a bit unusual at first to get all aligned, but hold nice and firm once you get the hang of it, just follow the instructions. I haven't worn it with my full outfit yet, but it seems like it will be nice for all-day wear, and actually probably good that it doesn't get too tight, else I might be tempted to cinch it too much to wear for so long. (The thong that comes with it is a gimmick, very stiff and I do not intend to wear it.)For the price, it was an excellent deal, and I'm happy with the purchase. I would buy it again, though I may do some searching elsewhere if I really was trying to tighten the waist. This is a nice, smooth corset and the best deal you will get for the price. Just don't expect to have any help with sizing if you call.
