NVIDIA SHIELD Carrying Case

I love this case almost as much as the Shield Portable itself, which is a high bar. As someone who's had Nintendo handhelds for years along with various types of cases for transporting them, this is the best handheld case I've ever had. It fits the SP perfectly so it's only as bulky as the system itself, yet it has storage space in the top part of the case via a netted pocket. A thick, sturdy rubber stopper tab pulls out to allow direct access for your charging cable to plug in. And the case is ridiculously tough: I poked and punched on it and it didn't give an inch. I think you could sit on this thing without it budging. On top of all that, it's just plain attractive, matching the Shield's black with lime green accents.

after receiving the case i must say im impressed with the rigidity of it and quality it feels as though you could throw it of a roof with the shield in and it would still come out of it working.however i had a problem fresh out the box, the opening along the back of the case is held in with a plastic clip on the inside and snapped off as soon as i opened the case. obviously under a lot of pressure. however i have now glued the outer part onto the back and so is ok now but looks shabby on the inside without the plastic surround.shame also that the products arent in the uk as returning the item to the states would cost as much as the case.all in all a very good solid case

There is a rectangular hole in the top of the case for the charging cable. Around the hole is a plastic piece that arrived broken on the inside of the case. After requesting a replacement I received yet another broken case in the same manner. At this point I decided that the case is not worth getting if it breaks during shipping. How is it supposed to hold up in my backpack as I'm lugging it around?

The port in the back for charging the shield while in the case has a plug. It sucks. The rest had a nice build quality, but for the price, I regret buying it.

I bought this for when I travel during the work season and it is a nicely built case, however, I am having problems now with my Portable overheating inside if left on.

The quality of this case is outstanding, It fits the Shield with absolutely no wasted space. It is sleek, sturdy but not bulky. The bulge on the top is there to provide space for an interior pouch that can hold various accessories. I use it for the charger, some cables and micro SD cards. Everyone who owns a Shield should own this case too.Glad I purchased this.

Great quality case! I have some Native Eyewear sunglasses I got years ago with a case, this is the same material. While the Shield itself is already pretty sturdy, I can be sure it will take nearly any abuse I throw at it in this case. As far as features, it has a sealed flap for access to the charge port, and a small velcro pocket on the inside lid, not much clearance though so don't expect to get much more than an sd card or two in there.

Case fits perfectly. Only downside is when charging with the device in the case, the device gets too hot because the case fits perfectly. Normally I wouldn't do this to begin with but the case has an opening specifically made for charging while in the case.
