Purchased for my elderly mom- a bit too detailed for her due to her medical issues. But she loved looking at it and doing some coloring. Gorgeous artwork, quality book, shipped fast with no issues. Great for adults with no physical ailments like shaking hands, etc.

Delightful coloring fun
The media could not be loaded. Attached is my silent and quick flip through video of the entire book of postcard designs. I hope it is of assistance to you.I've recently started enjoying adult coloring books as a way to relieve stress and some of my favorite books are "Enchanted Forest" and "Secret Garden" by Johanna Basford. When I saw that "Enchanted Forest" was going to be available in postcards, I pre-ordered them immediately. They just arrived and the images are lovely. They are smaller representations of some of my favorites from the book. There are 20 different images to have fun with. The images are much smaller and are a little more difficult to work with (at my age.) I plan to use my Dazor magnifying lamp to do the detail work and will probably use my Copic or Spectrum Noir Next Generation alcohol-based markers to get the type of detail I think I will want with these postcards.Unlike the book (which has images on both sides of each page), the postcards have images on one side and the other side has spots for putting in address and comments to the individuals you send these to. That is, if you can bear to part with them. If not, they are a lovely little size to frame up and put into a collage on a wall. The cards are a much thicker and heavier weight than the regular books. I don't think there is much fear that gel pens/markers will leak through at this weight, I just want the alcohol pens as I can do really fine point work best with them.I purchased these at full price but I noticed that twice already they have gone on sale. At full price, they are a great deal, on sale they are fantastic. I am picking up more sets just to have on hand for when family and friends stop by and want to join in the coloring fun.I think these are a wonderful and inexpensive item to pick up. They also make a fantastic gift for anyone who is into coloring. They would make a great stocking stuffer gift at the holidays.

Intricate
I love post card coloring books. I do them in group therapy and then send them off to my friends. I haven't used this one much because I work with markers and the details on these cards are TINY. Best for colored pencils, I think.

Best adult coloring booklets
I've looked around a LOT for interesting small adult coloring books. Johanna's cards have become my favorites. I wish she would come out with a few more! I also have her "Secret Garden", and will be starting on my second book of "Secret Garden" cards soon. What I particularly like about Johanna's postcard booklets is that they are portable ( and each one doesn't take forever to finish, you can see the end), excellent card stock ( no bleed through), printed one side only, and the images range from tiny to small. BUT: they are not always just designs and patterns, which I find a bit too boring and dizzying. There are little scenes with hidden critters, and usually a focal point to draw your eye. You can choose to accentuate this focal point ( eg owl's eyes) or not. And there is still plenty of small pattern to keep your hands and mind busy. They also offer the option of subtle shading with water color pencils ( I use Caran d'Ache) within the small shapes if you want to add depth or mystery. These make great gift cards on their own, or as the card given with another gift. They are personal, no two will be alike because YOU did them.I have yet to find comparable booklets, in size, concept, design, and material quality.

I love Johanna Basford Coloring Books
The Post Cards representing the 20 drawings she's chosen from the books them are great. I send them in an envelope though so the coloring doesn't get ruined. The little details that surround where the Stamp would be are perfect for dates and/or names special to the reason for the gift. As we get older we have enough "stuff." These are perfect gifts as they are not only personal, but easy for the receiver to save for memories. I've always enjoyed writing letters and still send cards as I was taught by my Mom. These take it another step with a personal touch. These are certainly worth the money. They come packaged very nicely and I can never wait to color my first one. Absolutely recommended.

Great to toss into your purse!!
Being and avid colorist that started this past summer, and I fell into hook line and sinker; I have collected a variety of coloring books, different types of mediums (pencils, pens, markers) ways to keep them all organized. I am learning my style, new techniques and what I enjoy coloring; which at the moment is pretty much most anything, although some of the finer detail areas have to wait for days my wrists or eyes aren't bothering me; and having a magnifying glass also helps too. There is such a wide variety of coloring books out there for adults; if you are looking for something to help de-stress, to help cope maybe with different medical issues you maybe facing or whatever, don't be afraid, just jump on it there and give it a shot; I am sure you will find something that will suit your fancy and they even have coloring books for men too. A lot of these artists have GREAT talent, and it surely shows when you flip through these pages. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up a coloring pencil, kick up your feet, sit back and relax and color yourself a great picture!!!

I love these postcards and the secret garden ones
I love these postcards and the secret garden ones. I found artist crayons to be better than felt tips but also nice with gel, metal or glitter pens. Felt tip pens tend to leak and spread on the picture. My daughter asked me why I got the postcards and I told her to send to friends or family to let them know I was thinking of them or just to give a message. My daughter commented it is easier to send an email to tell someone you are thinking of them. I explained that the person receiving the postcard would appreciate more and it would mean more to them due to the effort of colouring the picture in as they would realise a lot of thought and love went into it. So far I have done four of them and each of them has made the recipients happy. One of the details on the pictures is a little smaller than the bigger book such as the bird and mouse on the gates with two gargoyles on. However on the gate I did in gold glitter pen and the effect is stunning. On the boat with in a circle I found doing the sales in glitter gold's orange and greens more effective than just greens on their own and stand out more in glitter compared to crayons. Also put the postcard in an envelope when sending it then you prevents the post office stamp over them. I would recommend either buying two of these one for practice. One thing more at free postage and the postcards on Amazon are £6.28 this is cheaper than the £9.00 from certain high street shops.

Very small and intricate designs not good for an oldie like me ☹️
Love johannas books and have lots of them. I bought these to take on holiday as a more convenient size to colour but didn't realise they were just a reduced size of a page/pages from the large book. I am going to struggle to see this to colour it without a magnifier!!! So very disappointed the detail is VERY small... it would have been lovely and perfect if the dize was the SAME as the original book and just parts of the books images which I thought it was. Very sad !

To have found it via Amazon at a price I can afford (even with the addition of p&p) was a real joy, and so are the post cards
I saw this in a shop and retailing for £9.99 and couldn't justify buying it, even as a gift (as it was intended). To have found it via Amazon at a price I can afford (even with the addition of p&p) was a real joy, and so are the post cards. Not only are the pictures all unique, the designs are very different from one and another. Hence, there is nothing dull, boring or samey about this little post card book. The post cards are made of thick, strong and obviously good quality white card. The binding is solid and the design of the whole thing is plain enchanting. What a sweet, simple idea and creative means of sending postcards and thank yous. After all, colouring the images before posting the cards proves and shows the thought, time and effort gone into the messages being given. Real lovely little book of post cards and genius idea.Plus, super fast delivery, arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Couldn't ask for more.

Colour me beautiful
I'm about a third of the way through using this product. It's new to me in postcard format and I love it. It is extremely detailed and not for the faint-hearted. I love the pictures and the thickness of the pages. Each page is printed as a postcard on the back and can be used. The card colour is "off-white" and it's almost cardboard which means you can use a very sharp pencil to get into the small spaces. Would recommend.

Beautiful postcards
High quality postcards. I enjoy adult colouring and the small pictures add to the challenge. Mostly used felt tip fine liner pens. Helped pass a day or two during the lockdown and sent to loved ones during this time to cheer them up.
