HI-TECKid's GT Strap Junior Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

These sandals seem to fit a bit large, at least compared to the Timberland sandals I purchased in the same size at the same time. The Velcro straps overlap on my six-year old son's feet in order for them to fit securely. Otherwise, the quality appears to be good, and these are easily cleaned. Hopefully they will last and who knows, maybe he will end up getting a longer wear time out of them since they are big on him now!

Wanted to love them - my boys have Hi-Tec boots and they were great! The sandals straight outta the box seemed of good quality. The soles are good for hiking/climbing/being in the creek... the straps are nicely padded... and the foot-bed of the shoe seemed well constructed. Unfortunately the straps are poorly designed in my opinion. They don't come anywhere close to tight enough - especially if you plan on having kids in creeks... the foot/ankle would be slipping all over the place. I also tried them on just to see what the shoe felt like and wasn't at all impressed. The arch of the shoe sits weird and there's really no support but I'm coming from a Chaco sandal that's 4x the cost of what I paid for these. I don't think my boys would have complained but I wasn't impressed and I don't want the foot slipping at all.I think if your child has a thick foot/ankle and you're strictly purchasing to run around town in or on the playground - you're good... slim foot/ankle and you're looking to hike/climb/creek - I'd look elsewhere. Sending 'em back.

I have very wide feet for a lady and wear a small size show so buy kids shoes a lot. These were great in the width...I wear a DD shoe. They are very comfy and hold the toes and heel in well. I have ordered the other color they come in. My "old" shoes I had to toss were over 20 years old but finally had to go....hope these last as long!

Great sandal for my son. He wears a size 2. I ordered a size 3 to have for later in the season however when he tried them on, they fit perfect.

My 3 yr old loves this sandal. Straps are nicely padded. He can run jump and climb well. Highly recommend. He has a rather large/wide foot and high instep for his age. But I think with the adjustable straps these would work for any child. Color and look of the shoe is exactly as pictured.

My son has wide feet. Fits him well. Very comfortable. Went to Disney. Walk all day and no complains.
