Is it to young for 8year old

Not at all. It is a good game for the whole family even younger non readers. It is basically a shape and color recognition game using the faces of robots. My six year old grandson loves the game, but can get frustrated playing with his 11 year old brother who tends to locate the correct monster faces more quickly.
