UPDATED REVIEW: I traveled to CA and the luggage held up so well! I’m truly impressed. I haven’t even notice more damage than a couple very tiny scratches. I flew on a smaller plane, so overhead space was limited, but I easily carried my small suitcase on the plane and it wasn’t too heavy to put in the overhead bin. These sets are awesome!! Worth the splurge in my opinion.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this set because my older, soft-sided luggage was on its last leg from my latest trip. I love that this Betsey Johnson luggage has more than 2 wheels so it’s nice and easy to maneuver.I haven’t traveled with them yet-I’ll be using the carry on only for my CA trip in July, but I expect the carry on will hold up just fine.The one thing I’m concerned about, which others have mentioned, is that when/if any of the bags are checked, the TSA agents are very unforgiving, and the luggage may not hold up very well. This is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.FedEx delivered the box to my front door which was so helpful because I live on the third floor of my apartment building. The luggage comes in a large Betsey Johnson box, so I imagine if you wanted to surprise someone with it, it may be difficult to hide what it is.I believe that unfortunately, there’s really no way to guarantee that you won’t receive a set with damage or defects... it’s kind of the luck of the draw. My set was perfect, but obviously there are reviews where that was definitely not the case.All in all, I might buy again , however Amazon raised the price from around $250 to nearly $275 in the last week, which seems unfair and unfortunate.I do recommend this luggage- great buy!

Seriously such a good investment. The look, the design, quality… everything is great! The hard shell bubble heart exterior was a selling point for me but every detail beyond that was icing on the cake. I’m an “overpacker” to say the least and closing up a suitcase has always been the ultimate test of durability. It’s easy to close and easy to carry/roll around. The adorable gold/heart zippers and gold wheels are a nice touch. Not to mention each luggage comes with its own B.J. luggage tag. While the all black bubble heart set I ordered isn’t the typical bright and colorful Betsey Johnson look, the luggage tag adds the right pop of color and making finding my bags on the luggage carousel much easier!

I haven't had a chance to use the product yet. I love the design! The bags are light weight and fairly sturdy. Not the toughest high end strength but also not easily torn and the zipper feels good. The best looking luggage I have ever seen. Definitely worth the price. I've bought cheapo luggage that the zipper breaks with 3 uses and bought luggage you could drop from a mile high and only get a scratch. This is in the middle but looks much better than any luggage I've ever seen.

Very pretty, pictures are true to the actual product. All 3 have expandable capability, and interior pockets and bungie's. The exterior has a little give to it, which my husband is concerned means they're not very sturdy, but I haven't had an issue.

I love the side with the flamingo design, but I’m not sure I will take any on an airplane. Car travel is fine, and they serve their purpose.

I bought this for my daughter who travels. However, however, she won’t even be able to use this in in a car. Because the plastic is so flimsy that we can’t stack anything heavier than her thumb on there. She barely touched it in the causes a sizable dent . It is a shame because it was such an adorable set. There is absolutely no way we can stack anything on it, and there is absolutely no way this will uphold a baggage claim.We are even afraid to put anything on top of it in storage as it is such flimsy plastic

I can cram all kinds of stuff into these bags. They roll pretty well and so far, seem to be really durable. Even my manly man of a husband doesn't mind rolling the pink flamingos around the hotels haha. I have the whole set including the cosmetic case.
