Very very happy! I had my eye on these luggages for a long time. Was waiting for a sale on them. Black Friday hit they went on sale and I snagged them up. I think after they went on sale they were a great vaule for the price point. They are very beautiful suitcases. Super sturdy. And came fairly quickly. You always want a pattern that will be easily recognizable coming off a luggage carousel and this is definitely them. Great patterns to pick from. It was geniuinly hard to pick one. Very happy with my purchase!

UPDATED REVIEW: I traveled to CA and the luggage held up so well! I’m truly impressed. I haven’t even notice more damage than a couple very tiny scratches. I flew on a smaller plane, so overhead space was limited, but I easily carried my small suitcase on the plane and it wasn’t too heavy to put in the overhead bin. These sets are awesome!! Worth the splurge in my opinion. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this set because my older, soft-sided luggage was on its last leg from my latest trip. I love that this Betsey Johnson luggage has more than 2 wheels so it’s nice and easy to maneuver. I haven’t traveled with them yet-I’ll be using the carry on only for my CA trip in July, but I expect the carry on will hold up just fine. The one thing I’m concerned about, which others have mentioned, is that when/if any of the bags are checked, the TSA agents are very unforgiving, and the luggage may not hold up very well. This is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5. FedEx delivered the box to my front door which was so helpful because I live on the third floor of my apartment building. The luggage comes in a large Betsey Johnson box, so I imagine if you wanted to surprise someone with it, it may be difficult to hide what it is. I believe that unfortunately, there’s really no way to guarantee that you won’t receive a set with damage or defects... it’s kind of the luck of the draw. My set was perfect, but obviously there are reviews where that was definitely not the case. All in all, I might buy again , however Amazon raised the price from around $250 to nearly $275 in the last week, which seems unfair and unfortunate. I do recommend this luggage- great buy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted distinctive, one of a kind luggage that would stand out among the masses of black , brown or grey suitcases, whether on the luggage carousel at the airport or in the cruise terminal after disembarking from the ship. This luggage will be easy to spot and I'm sure will be more durable than my soft sided luggage. The sunflower/checked design is one of a kind!

Surprised at what great quality these even with the beautiful design! They’re everything I wanted in luggage: easy to maneuver/agile, sturdy, very* generous capacity, great internal zipper compartment to keep (plenty of) shoes (even boots and heels) and toiletries separate from clothes and other items, sturdy handles, and quality inner lining. Zippers are also thick and slide easily (my toddler can’t get enough of them and hasnt broken any yet and I’m not worried she will cuz they’re sturdy). My mid size one was heavily filled on a recent trip (packed 10 days into it plus dresses to attend a wedding, all without the zipper expander) and took a good tumble off the curb and slid a bit into the street on a slant when I wasn’t paying attention (tho it rolled standing upright with some finesse before going down) and came out with the casing pretty much unscathed, just a little mark on the handle where it hit, so I’m pretty confident these can handle being tossed in and out of a luggage trolley pretty well and maintain the nice exterior. Also, they just make me happy to see in the room during travel— they’re bright, have hummingbird animal spirit vibes, and my little girl seems to think they’re all for her! And if they truly hold the test of time by the time she’s big enough they will be :)

Get a moving box and duct tape, it will be more durable. First trip the case cracked. Zippers are from the dollar store. The cases are super cute but scratch up bad. I know they are really cute but they are cheaper made than I thought possible and flimsy. They aren't worth it.

So it’s gorgeous! I absolutely adore this set. My ONLY concern is how long it’s going to last me. It not exactly as “hard” as I expected it to be. It’s a hard but thin sort of plastic that I’ll have to see over time if it’s durable. You can push the plastic in with your hand. It bounces back, but we will see. Might also easily get scratched up given how they handle luggage. Nevertheless I absolutely love it. I got 4 of the 5 pieces and I’m going to go ahead and get the 5th because it’s just too cute not to have it all. I love the height and width. You’ve got a good variety to choose from depending on how much you need to pack. It’s definitely easily moveable. I’ll have to see how it does when fully loaded. But over all, it’s just so darn cute!
