Works perfectly but keep power consumption in mind
This splitter works perfectly for extending a single outlet to power two devices. It’s a convenient and reliable solution for managing multiple devices without the need for an additional power strip. The build quality is solid, and the design allows for easy placement and connection. However, it’s important to be aware that the power consumption is effectively split between both outlets, so it’s best suited for devices with lower power demands. I’d recommend this splitter to anyone needing a simple and effective way to power two devices from one outlet. Just be mindful of the total load to ensure safe and optimal performance.

PLUGGED UP AGAIN.... GOOD!
Most good reviews tell it correctly ... Heavy duty plug, very well made, quality ... 16AWG(1.31mm2 VW-1 75 deg. C 300v ) .... NOT for outdoor use unless protected from water .... I checked polarity, is correct .... Maybe the older batches came from a poor worker who didn't perform assembly correctly, I believe the manufacturers have corrected that problem for future cords Best advantages include being able to plug in those clunky adapters that are too big for power strips ... Not a problem with this .... (Wall adapters only allow for small cords, even my 6 slot one, else the adapters take up almost the entire multi-plug spaces) .... and... You can hide the cords behind furniture for a neater house appearance ... With a couple of the "y" splitters, I use extension cords too (from same company, so same thickness, quality, color), and I can keep my chargers ready for tablet, cellphone, laptop, and lamp .... all neatly tucked away, so I simply use the business end in the proper machine ... Sooo convenient, better than a docking station (my opinion) I plan to purchase two more splitters & two more extension cords (gives me 4 plug-ins), to be beside my recliner .... Need to plug in that electric blanket while on the laptop, and tv! ... Leaves one open for the vacuum sweeper .... hehhee

Buy one, buy two, buy a thousand!
Probably the best piece of audio/video equipment I have dealt with in the past 6 months...I have had nothing but bad luck with everything. I am touring as a DJ right now and bring my own lighting so as to replace the sub-par stuff some of the clubs I perform at have when necessary. I bought one of these for my moving two heads. It is awesome. Works, and that is that. It just freakin' works! I've been plagued with advertised DMX cables that turn out to be XLR and have interference issues and all kinds of stuff. These do what they are supposed to. Not a hard job from the get go. Turn a 3 prong plug into two. Way to go whoever invented this! <-----being sarcastic....will buy more for all of my lighting.

A BIG Problem-Solver - On the cheap $$
Have an extra low-wattage device to plug in, but ran out of wall outlets or power-strip spots? No problem. Plug in this bad boy & open up an additional spot. Great construction & quality. I WOULD NOT run high-wattage devices on this splitter, as it's not rated for super-high currents; you could overload your outlet or surge protector. Otherwise, this is an ideal problem-solver. Highly recommended!

Does the job.
Pros: Solid plugs and receptacles that are easy to grip. Flat prongs on plugs are solid metal, not folded metal that is easily bent. Receptacles have enough friction to hold onto most wall transformers without them falling out (isn't this why we bought these?). All wired properly (I tested each receptacle with a circuit tester). 16 AWG wire. Cons: No UL listing stickers. Other: 16 inches long from end to end. 7 inches long from the end of the receptacle to the joint.

Liked it so much I reordered more!
I don't have a clue if these are wired correctly but I'm using them and they seem to be working fine. They're a nice heavy weight and seem very well made. Hate it that they are made in China but OH WELL. They're so incredibly convenient - I can never find a surge suppressor with enough outlets OR everything I have to plug in has some enormous gadget at the plug that takes up space on the suppressor -- this is so nice to expand the ability to plug more things in. I'm using it mostly for my Apple products - have an old IPAD, have a new IPHONE - of course Apple changed the charging cord so now I have to use two different ones - this cable solves my problem. I liked it so much I reordered several.

Excellent Outlet Extender
Purchased this for a small electronics project I was working on and it worked perfectly. This out let extender provided more flexibility than a simple socket extender that plugs directly into the socket and then your cables into the extender, but without any leads. This ties you up, this setup allows you to have a few inches of flexibility and move the outlet to where you need it. Surge protectors take to much space and are really overkill for many applications, this is perfect. Quality is high and the cable is very durable. Feel very confident in the use of this product. Would buy again.

Product works and the polarity is right.
Other reviewers report incorrect "polarity", but I would suggest they check the OUTLET this device is plugged into, to make sure it's not your home wiring. I Tested this outlet splitter with my 110v. outlet tester and it is wired correctly. (I have tested the polarity of all my homes outlets and they are all code). There's only one minor detail...the plug requires quite a hard push to seat the plugs & sockets. I thought I was going to break my little outlet tester pushing it in. There's no need for it to be that tight for the low amperage that these things carry. Maybe it will loosen up with use, but it's never gonna come unplugged by itself. Buy one. The price is right and it works great.
