Skar Audio SK1X10V Single 10" Universal Fit Ported Subwoofer Enclosure

I am impressed with this little 10” ported box. It fits sung behind the backseat and takes up very little real estate in the trunk. Also I’m also very impressed with the sound. For such a small box it sounds great. I paired it with a P3 10” DVC @ 2ohm and bridged to 1ohm off an arc 650 amp. I previously had a 12” in a ported box but it took up too much space. This 10” set-up doesn’t hit quite as low as the 12” but it is plenty. I am very satisfied. If I had to complain about something, it is that the supplied speaker wire is rather short and that the box has Skar embroidered on the side. I added new wire to the backside of the terminals, which resolved the short wire issue and I just live with the ugly writing on the box. It is in the trunk after all. The quality of the terminals and construction is quite good and when balancing against the cost the package is an excellent value.

Arrived in perfect condition, exact fit for my soundqubed speakers. Sounds great well made Would buy again.

Love this box, the carpet is nice, the terminal cups are solid, and they sound good also. Used different sized versions of this box with different speakers, but always the same result, satisfied.

This box is well made and sounds good. One major issue is that the opening WILL NOT accommodate certain tens without modification. I used an Image Dynamic IDQ10 and I had to use a coping saw to widen the opening by another half an inch. Also make sure you have some extra glue or a staple gun because the batting inside the box needs to be held down better. Other than that, once the setup was done it sounds great. For the price, you can't beat this.

Awesome sounds and quality for the price! I had tried a few other boxes for my 10" JL sub, but ended up returning them all. I got this one and absolutely loved it.

I have been a SPL guy for years , so I cringed at the idea of buying a pre built box. But after my daughter was born I had no choice I needed the truck space. This box is a steal for the money. I wish the front baffle was double however it does the job, my DDX was a good fit. And for a sub 2 CF box its sounds great in the lows. I wouldn't call this a metal-heads box, better for rap and that's not a criticism if you listen to a lot of metal get something with a higher tuning or go sealed. I went from a birch 4.5 CF 4th order band-pass to this, and for my daily I don't feel under prepared. Great job Skar I'd love to see what you would do with a band-pass

This is my 2nd box from them for the other car.

There is nothing to complain about with this box. It is well made from quality materials. The speaker wire extends 12" from the box opening, plenty to attach speaker and it appears to be 12 gauge. The only con is its size but that is advertised up front so I knew what I was buying. Just shy of 1.5 ft3 based on exterior dimensions. I wish they offered a little wider box with closer to 1.75 - 2.0 ft3. At the price offered, it is a good deal if you accept the size.
