Works but fit can be affected by temperature
This quick disconnect mounts easy and works well. The only detraction I’ve found is if the base is out in the sun on the boat and gets hot and you’ve stored the motor in a cool basement it is almost impossible for me to get the lock bail into the mount. The first time it happened I was at a loss. The second time it happened I diagnosed the issue. The base grows in size from the heat and the bracket on the TM base will not drop low enough so that one can slide the wire keeper into its location and lock the TM into place. After a bit the mount on the TM warms and then it will all go together. Takes about 15-20 minutes. I’ve taken to pulling the TM out of my walkout basement when I’m getting ready to go and letting it warm while I get everything else ready. By then it’s warmed to a similar temperature and everything works as designed.I think if it was made from a material other than nylon the temperature wouldn’t affect it as much.

Well, made simple to install and uninstall the trolling motor
This mount is very simple is easy and quick to install or uninstall The trolling motor on my boat. time will tell how well they hold up to the pounding the UV exposure, etc. but I believe they will last a long time based on how they’re made.

Quick detach.
Works just fine for my motorguide. Ver fast to remove the trolling motor for storage or if I just don't want it that day. Just leaves a little pad on the boat when you take it off. I saved a little money over the aluminum. I've used it maybe a dozen times now and so far no problems.

Perfect for attaching our new Motorguide Trolling Motor onto the bow of our boat. Just remember to secure it down really well, so that there is no play in it when you are going over some waves. Great product at a great price, too~~~
