Great product, long handles for ease of use ,can get the brush right to the back of the log burner without burning my arm, not really sure about tongs , they are quite big but they look nice , heavy duty , looks lovely on my new hearth , great value product

More Blunt Instruments Than a Game of Cluedo
This is a really strong and robust set of wrought iron fireside tools. It all comes disassembled, and putting the tools together is as simple as screwing a few handles onto a brush, a shovel, a poker and a pair of tongs, as well as screwing together the stand. The handles are of a good length for poking around in a burning hot stove without danger of burning any fingers.Possibly with the exception of the brush head—soft as it is—these formidable blunt tools could last for several generations; they seem virtually indestructible. And even during the summer months the poker or shovel might have some practical use, say if you happened to come across a burglar in the study or the ballroom, for example. One star dropped for the very slightly rustic, imperfect finish; there is more emphasis on the practical than the ornamental, which, to be fair, for a real fireplace is the right priority. Worth the forty quid I paid.

Solid set
Very weighty - feels like it's worth the money. Looks good with nice, but not obvious/cheap-looking handles.

Extremely good quality, real brass, well made.
I do not leave too many reviews, but in this case, I thought it necessary to comment on the quality of this fireside toolset. It is sturdy made of real metal and real brass, easy to put together and looks great in front of the fire. One very happy customer.
