Great belt for training. Has really helped me with my heavier lifts and being able to feel my bracing better. Really good quality too, secure fit. I’d recommend going up a size, as I ordered a small originally, but exchange for a medium which fits perfectly.

I have used gyms for most of my life. I started heavy lifting nearly two years ago and I have built up my strength over this time. As it got heavier I bought a neoprene style weight lifters belt with velcro. Which I must admit did a superb job. It was cheap and cheerful and filled a gap. Now I decided to progress to a strength/power lifting belt. As my weights are going up I duly needed the extra support this offered me. I researched the Internet diligently and found BEAST GEAR on amazon. I looked on YouTube and found my guru recommended an American made belt for in excess of £100 plus £20 shipping. With this in kind I found the BEAST GEAR and checked out their reviews on a similar belt. The reviews at that time were 100% and I researched this belt for a time. I ordered a large which for me with a belly circumference of 37 inches leaves plenty of room either way.Now on to what I love about the belt. As soon as I opened the belt I could feel its chunky well stitched abs it looks like,unless it's stolen could probably outlive me. It's comfortable straight away. BEAST GEAR don't advertise that it needs a breaking in period. Or use it and the buckle will undo or do up easier purely and simple because from the first use I could do up and undo this belt. Without the aid of another or the squat. Unlike someone I saw once with a brown similar rdx belt struggling against a squat rack trying to escape it.The leather has a slight suede feel to it. Which lends it a sort of matte finish. Which I think is great.In all this belt is perfect for me at my level. Would be perfect for an absolute beginner as an investment into longevity into heavy lifting. Or even if you are a pro lifter. It certainly fits the bill.I would like to add to BEAST GEAR. To see if they do or could do variation on the belts. This was a selling point for the one I looked at from America. It could be that this small addition could be a unique seller for this country.Ps. Buy this belt which has a buckle. Some of the cheaper belts with a hasp locking mechanism seem to break. Also if you have done it up too tight and can't release the pressure from the lock it won't undo. So definitely buy this belt. You won't regret it.

Waited for a medium to be in stock and contacted beast gear about it, they kept me informed, can't ask for much more. The belt it's self was delivered on time and came well packaged. Thick leather belt great for back support, needs a bit of wearing in as it's currently rubbing on me a bit but it's getting easier to wear. Bit expensive compared to what's on the market but overall it's a great quality belt and I'm sure I'll get some great use from it.

After weeks of deliberation I finally settled on this belt, and I can say that it's the best powerlifting belt that is easily accessible in the UK.If you are going to be powerlifting big weight, then this is the belt for you. It is extremely well made, the materials used are excellent and it is much sturdier than belts you will usually find in casual lifting environments. It offers a much larger surface area of protection than other belts and is also significantly thicker and stronger. It has easily supported and enhanced me (a rather lean framed fella) on deadlifts of up to 215kg. I float around 30 inch waist and the medium was the perfect size for me with plenty of notches either side of a comfortable fit.With all the strength and sturdiness that this belt provides, it is a powerlifting belt and should be used for heavy and simple movements (squat, deadlift, row, press, power cleans). It might be lacking a bit in flexibility and manoeuvrability and is perhaps a bit thick if you are performing more dynamic lifts. However you can always buy another belt for those things and can rely on the beast gear power belt for your heavy duty safety needs.

I don't often write reviews but I felt for this it was definitely worth it!I often wear a weight lifting belt for my heavier lifts, mainly deadlifts, squats and bench press as they are vital for supporting and protecting your lower back and core. I'd had my previous belt for about 2 years before it slowly started to fall apart, so thought it was time to have a look for a replacement and from using Beast Gear in the past I knew how good their products are, so decided to give this a go.As soon as you open the packaging you get a feeling that this is a premium product. From the carry string bag which is included to the actual belt itself, its been really well made and I'm sure it'll last all of my tough workouts. I know often with these sorts of things that you have to 'wear it in' so it feels a lot more comfortable, I'm not sure if it's just my body shape (I think I'm a normal body shape haha) but from the first time I put it on, it felt like it was working perfectly! I'm also pretty tall with a athletic build and the sizing guide was spot on!From someone who's had lower back problems in the past, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both this gym weight lifting belt but also Beast Gear. For the price you're paying, it's a absolute quality product and much better than the other belts I've owned or used in the past.This is now my go to for big workouts and I'm glad that I bought it. 10/10
