Cork board tiles
Good quality, thick enough to use for stapling things onto it. I use it to cover an old blackboard in my classroom.

Good for basing Warhammer / tabletop miniatures, PUTRID SMELL
Bought these to do base work on my miniatures (Warhammer 40K), but was smacked in the face by a horrible putrid smell the moment I tore the shrink wrap off. These would be great for a 4D Nurgle / Death Guard miniature to capture the look AND smell.

Beautiful
The media could not be loaded. I have brought these with several other items to building my village. It came out really beautiful

Does the job, but would not buy again
Hung this up tonight and for now, they seem to be sticking to my wall and supporting the pictures I hung up with pushpins just fine. I bought two packs of four, and put about 50 photos and post cards on them. However, material was very thin and some pieces were coming off when I unpacked it. There were also little particles coming off the boards that got everywhere. Got all over my hands, all over the floor, and was all over the packaging. Kind of nightmare to clean up. There is a burnt wood smell; I’m hoping some fresh air from an open window and candles will flush out overtime. Time will tell if these hold up, but I probably would not purchase again

Great Dartboard surround
I got these to use as a protective area around my dartboard, (3 across and 3 down with the board mounted centrally). They don't stop the darts from hitting the drywall behind them but they mask the holes nicely as they don't show those holes themselves. As I'm not intending to take my dartboard down anytime soon then I'm OK with worrying about filling the holes when I eventually do. Little bit of spackle and paint and Bob's your uncle. Now I did note that several reviewers say that it's really, REALLY hard to get the backing paper off the double sided adhesive tabs that are supplied to fix the tiles to the wall and they're not wrong. It IS hard,...... but I found a solution. Taking one side of the backing paper off, while the tab is still in your fingers is not too bad to do, but then after you have stuck that to the tile taking the 2nd backing paper off is a nightmare. I just used the tip of a sharp knife to slightly poke into the paper and I just lifted the paper off . While I was trying to get the edge to peel it off with my fingers and nails I was suffering the same grief as everyone else. As soon as I started to use the sharp tip of a knife I was flying and it wasn't an issue. Do make sure that you wipe the surface of the tiles down with a slightly damp cloth though to remove the cork dust from the surface or the tabs will not adhere properly and could allow the tiles to come away from the wall.

Practical
I use them to line my counter so it doesn't make noise late in the night.

Not good for using as a water float.
I use these cut to size to put in buckets of water for our honey bees to drink water. After two days in water, the water turns dark read as well as the cork. This is not natural cork, which I've used for a few years. I have to throw these away, not good for my purposes. Normal cork does not change color in water, it will grow algae on the rim, but not turn dark red to dark brown.
