Bought this for my little boy who was 3 (with supervision) he absolutely loved this item and the amount of things you can make are fab, comes with a booklet with ideas or we all enjoyed making our own creations, I have to admit as a grown up adult in her 30s I had great fun making and and building different thing with our little one. Great value for the money, hours of fun, and a lot of bits and bobs, size of the items available, tools for any child who loves being creative and build things with tools would recommend this product

The concept of little pieces with nuts and bolts is fabulous, however, it should be refined further to make it a better toy. Firstly, the tools used to turn the nut are fiddly, and some children would struggle to get them to connect properly. Secondly, there are groves in some of the parts to avoid slippage once bolted into place, but the way they've been cut means that it can be difficulty to align pieces as straight as one would want. On the plus side, the electric drill works well.

We received our construction set last month and it’s been absolutely brilliant. My son has loved playing with it and it’s given us hours of entertainment. There are so many pieces that are perfect size for little hands, tools that actually work and it even comes in it’s own carry case. The set comes with instructions to make lots of different models and there’s some great ideas in there. This kits promotes imagination, learning and problem solving and I’d highly recommend it for both younger and older children. And even adults too!

We received the STEM Engineering Building Series Toy promptly and in a great condition. It all comes in a handy storage box which is really handy for tidying away and storing. The product comes with 316+ pieces and the mini simulation power tool were very appealing to my wee one! It is going to be a great product to work on her fine motor and planning & problem solving skills whilst allowing her to also be creative in the models she makes. The box says 59 models but I’m sure with her vivid imagination we’ll get many more out of it over the years. Well worth buying for both girls and boys as an activity that is fun and educational at the same time.

I bought this for my construction mad grandson, it reminds me of Meccano but seemed simpler to use and as my grandson is only 2 and a half, a lot easier to use. I thought it may be a little advanced for him and the idea was for him to build stuff with his dad, good for bonding, great for learning. And of course, dad would prevent bits being chewed or a swallowed. Its worked out far better than I hoped, my grandson loves it and after a few sessions is able to build things on his own. The battery-powered drill makes screwing and unscrewing easy for him so he doesn't get frustrated with the fiddly bits and to see a child of this age put a digger together from basic parts is amazing. Thankfully he has no interest in putting any of the bits in his mouth (but hs is still supervised when using the kit) so for his next birthday, i will be buying him the extension kit. This is a great toy for all those little builders and a far better construction route than lego, which he shows no interest in

I really like the idea of this STEM based building set for kids and I have built a few things with my son however the screws are really really loose fitting and they tend to fall out when my son tries to handle the things he has built so he is not really able to enjoy his creations. Again it is a great concept but, the design needs to be worked on so that the screws actually stay in place and hold things together.

I bought this for my grandson’s 4th birthday. He was absolutely delighted with it and immediately the batteries were in the drill he started building ! At this age he does need a bit of help eg someone to hold the object while he screws in the nuts and screws but he will be able to do simple builds himself soon. He loves it ! I am pleased with the quality of the plastic and the amount in the box. My only small criticism would be that the drill goes through a lot of batteries ! ! It is possible to hand screw assemble but he is not quite able to do that yet. I would highly recommend this toy.
