The best wood carving disc, period.
I love this cutting blade. It cuts like magic and easy to control vs. many other cutters on the market. You have great fine control as well as being able to hog out tons of material.

Good quality wood shaping wheel for handheld grinders.
This was perfect for shaping wood. Very aggressive grit so it works fast yet still leaves a decent finish. You definitely want to use your side handle and guard. Don’t ask.

Good product
This is classified as a "medium" sander. I assume this to mean that it is less aggressive, leave a smoother finish than the more course, blue one, by this same manufacturer. I have not found this to be the case, I fact, the finish with the blue one is smoother, less scratches, than this one. I end up using the blue one and then going to sandpaper.

Great product, great value!
Worked great, fit up was good, and after a few hours of use on hardwood I've noticed no degradation so far

This thing WORKS!
I’m using this to shape oak & cedar into benches, tables, chairs and bowls along with the more aggressive shaping Kutzall discs and sanding discs. Also a chainsaw but that’s not really relevant here, is it? Nah. The good: This baby removes wood! Even hard wood like dried cedar it just chews right in and speed out a spray of dust that smells awesome but gets everywhere. I’ve seen no wear or broken teeth after a full day of nearly continuous use, but it’s sufficiently fine that you can’t really see individual teeth anyway. I would say this is equivalent to a 60 grit sanding disc but lasts a very long time. The bad: None really. You do need to be alert to what you’re doing - it will eat wood FAST, and when the disc is spinning it really puts torque on the angle grinder. Use both handles and hold firmly. Definitely recommend if you’re doing more than a small project. For the cost you can buy about 30 sanding discs, though, so if you don’t anticipate using that many over time then reconsider...it isn’t cheap.

Pricey, but works well
I bought this to use for horse hoof trimming of hard, desert-dry hooves. It works so much much better than the grit disks I had been using and this disk should last a long time, I hope. It looks like very high quality and has a good amount of weight to it, which adds to the weight of the grinder, but makes up for it how quickly and accurately it removes horn. I will never have to use a rasp again... The horses like it too, much more comfortable for them than using hand tools.

Goodbye 60 grit sandpaper!
I learned about this from watching Blacktail Studios videos on YouTube. I make oak epoxy resin tables. Oak laughs at sandpaper. My belt sander could barely make a dent in it. A planer or a router can hog off material, but for freehand shaping this thing is amazing! Be warned, though...they call this EXTREME for a reason. Even on oak this thing will remove wood with almost NO effort. Sounds great, right? It is...until you mess up your project with 1 slip. This is not for finishing work. This is for rough shaping and hogging off wood quickly. Also...60 bucks seems steep until you realize that this thing doesn't seem to dull and will likely last me forever. My next purchase along these lines will be for a less extreme Kutzall disc.
