This is a fast, quiet no frills kettle without different temperature settings. When the red light goes out, it's hot. It's fine for multiple cups of tea. The goose neck has a short drip free plastic sleeve, and the design allow easy precise pouring. Great for one or two people. I wish the cord were a little longer to give more options about where to put it: 27.75 " from kettle to tip of the plug. I can get my hand inside to clean it, but not much cleaning will be needed for heating double filtered water. It looks fine, not quite as cheap as it is.

I’ve had this brand of teapot for five years and it still works. I live in a rural area with hard water and I clean my pot every other day with citric acid. The old one finally started leaking a little, and I decided to replace it. This pot warms up quickly and holds the heat in for the water waking up perfect cup of coffee every time. I’ll continue to use the old one for a little while longer, but I’m glad I have this new one as a back up. The speed of the heating of the water and the amount of water that I can heat up that’s perfect for me.

Works well (gets the job done) heats water decently fast (within a few minutes). No plastic touches the water. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it leaks if u fill the water to the top and leaks sometimes when you’re pouring the water (even if not over filled). But it wasn’t bad enough to return. For the price I think it’s good value.

Love this thing for pouring over nstant coffee. Make sure you wash it throughly. First couple of time was have a metallic taste, but that will burn off after a few uses. I was ready to send it back, but then the coffee started tasting so good and the convenience is great. Will turn off if the water bowls down.

Just got this kettle after looking at different models for MONTHS to replace an older electric kettle we also bought on Amazon which has failed after two (!) years despite seller replacing first shipped kettle that failed. We washed the current kettle and checked that the volume to the max-fill-line is as the ad claims--1 L, not a fraction of a liter. Check--filling the kettle to the metal tab inside the kettle that says "MAX," about 1.25-inch below the rim of the kettle, is a full liter as confirmed by transfer to Pyrex measuring cup. Next, we tested the negative reviews that placing the kettle on the heating base is difficult. Yes, it is. The kettle wobbles dangerously unless you PUSH it down on the heating element. Even then, if the kettle's empty, it still wobbles when you relieve it of downward pressure. No big problem for us. When done heating water, remove kettle from base. But then we tried to boil about 700 mL of water--well below capacity. Before the water boiled, we saw SPARKS under the kettle as water spilled out somewhere near the base where the handle connects to the body at the bottom. Very, very dangerous. Worse, as we lifted the kettle to remove it from the base, more hot water spilled down at the base onto the heating element AND US. Given other reviewers have had the same experience, why is this dangerous product still available on Amazon?! Angry and disappointed. Another failed product. Where did all the reliable products go???

I’ve had it for the better part of three years, works just as well as the first time I used it. Keeps the water flavor intact. It’s not super loud, easy to clean, and it literally only has one button so it’s easy to use. You can probably find a more expensive one that does more things, but if you only need hot water for tea/coffee/cooking, you can’t beat the price.

EDIT After 7 months of use. Everything on the kettle is working fine. Heats water to a boil and no mechanical issues. BUT, along the cover/lid, where the lid seats into the kettle. Some tarnish/rust (ok maybe not rust, as it doesn't wipe off, but it looks like rust) has appeared. And it won't wipe off. I'm afraid to use an abrasive on the metal, as this may make the issue worse. So I just wipe it as best as I can, but it looks like I'm gonna order another kettle. *** Original Review *** Another purchase for the office. You need a gooseneck kettle if you are gonna do pour-over coffee. And this was a steal. Water boils quickly. The kettle is nice and compact. PROS: SS finish looks great and easy to keep clean. Compact footprint. Fast heating. Price. CONS: I'm being nit picky, but sometimes the kettle just doesn't want to seat properly on the base. It has to be placed on the base almost perfectly. Second is not necessarily a con, but a feature I have on my other two kettles. If I remove the kettle off the base it clicks, the power switch off, on this model, the power switch remains down and stays in the on position. So when I replace the kettle back on the base, it continues to heat up the kettle.

Llevo 6 meses con ella y es excelente. Muy buen producto. Cumple su función y es de buena calidad!

Después de un mes de uso, sigue funcionando bastante bien Calienta el agua muy rápido, 1litro en aprox 4-5min a pto de ebullicion EL único inconveniente es el boton de apertura de la tapa, pues luego se traba para abrir, siento le hace falta mas fuerza al resorte de la tapa, pero de ahi en fuera, buen producto
