Good family fun

I bought the tiddlywinks for my 8 year old grandson and he engaged with it immediately. I was surprised that his 3 year old sister was also captivated and has become quite proficient at pinging the counters into the score zones. A great little game, so simple but fun. Also the box is small and light enough for travelling. As no doubt some counters will get lost, I’ll consider upgrading to slightly larger, heavier ones.

Bought for grandsons birthday. He had been playing tiddly winks at school and said he liked it. Have to say the vintage box bought back some memories needless to say nan is a bit rusty so he beat me numerous times. Lovely little game great fun all for 6.99. Love it, he is pretty pleased too.

Absolutely fantastic game ..reminds me of stratego but in a flip the tiddlywinks version ..I first lined up my 9 year old to thrash at this game ..what a success my older hands had more power than his little mitts and I was firing 6ft away from the target got a hole in one twice ..son walked away by round 5 totally dejected .My 12 year old next as he was older I gave him a disadvantage and unknown to him I cut a crease in his big tiddlywink launcher with my Swiss Army penknife causing it to bend each time he flicked it.. what a tactic I won 10 -0 son number 2 mighty peeved left to play fortnite in a mood...Wifey next ..well my second flip of my green tiddlywink launched and landed smack in wife's left eye looked painful but I protested we started so we had to finish..by round 12 the wife's eye looked like it had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson thus conceding defeat as dear wifey couldn't eye up the angle to flick the tiddlywink wearing an icepack.I am truly the champ at this game ,strategy a must every time.. WARNING do not play around pets . Whilst training for my next match the yellow tiddlywink I launched flew across the room at a 90 degree angle into the armchair with the cat yawning swallowed the blooming thing having to perform the heinrich maneuver on a cat nigh impossible but it eventually flew out hitting my 75 inch tv directly into the tiddly target scoring a 4 well happy !...Im sticking to battleships in future.

I was very disappointed with this game., so was my granddaughter. 3 of us tried to play a simple game but it didn't work. The tiddly winks were rubbish. I guess you get what you pay for!
