Almost Like The Real Thing
Item arrived on time and as described by seller. If I never saw the original I would not be able too tell the difference. Color is slightly of but if your are that picky then maybe you should leave in the factory radio. A little pricy but if bought in the store would cost a lot more. Love it and my new radio.

love it, it fits my Infinity G35 sedan
love it, it fits my Infinity G35 sedan, a little bit bigger for the side but not an issue at all. my friends don't notice the slight openings on the sides. love the open space in the bottom for my phone or other items. and the ac/heater is more faster, as it comes with a whole new ac/heater system built-in.

I'm happy
I got this for my 05' G35 sedan. I'm not being one to spend a lot of cash on a sound system for my car because I mostly listen to news when I commute. This dash kit was the cheapest that I could find at the time (FYI - it's more expensive now), and I read a lot of grumbling online about how the Metra kit wasn't that good. But I wasn't about to drop >$300 for a plastic thing to fill a hole on my dash. So I bought it even though it's still a little pricey for a piece of plastic. The price is why it's only 3 stars. At that price, it should include all the wires to connect the radio to the factory harness and the antenna converter, not just the little cable for the HVAC.Instructions were great - they told me how to get the dash apart. The color is sprayed silver, which is pretty close to the original brushed metal dash. Close enough for me. But the spray is a little cheap when looking up close. The HVAC buttons do look a little cheaper than the factory, and its too bad Nissan/Infinity made a giant circutboard for the HVAC and radio faceplace so they can't be seperated. lame - I'm not giving the dealer >$300 so the dash has the exact factory buttons.I just wish the kit included the wires needed for connecting to the factory harness - its not that expensive to add in.

Non Factory Face Plate
This is a non factory face plate for the Infiniti G35 Sedan. The paint is actually brighter than the matte finish on the car, does not have the chrome finish on the side like the original face plate. Otherwise, it fits and works as described for the single DIN radio chasis. 157USD is a bit expensive however.

Great product, not color matching but not a huge deal. Buttons could be a bit better quality but overall good price.

Infiniti Dash Kit
The item is easy to install and does the trick for aftermarket installations. The only down side is it does not light up the controls at night like the OEM control panel does, so it is hard to see in the dark.

Metra makes great products for a cheap price
Metra makes great products for a cheap price, every time I use Metra it installs without a hitch. I seem to have the most problems with Scosche junk, it never fits.

Single Din Dash Kit
The product does the job. It was made to fit in replacement of the original dash kit to allow an aftermarket head unit to be installed. There are some "glamor" issues with the product, first the color is slightly off (slightly, but noticeable) and second there is a gap on the top of the dash kit, not sure what thats all about, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it without any luck. Over all though, it gets the job done.

and the rest is pretty intuitive. The buttons are far from OEM standards
If you want an aftermarket deck this is required. The solder on my OEM dash unit was melted and therefore I had no AC or radio control. Installing this & an aftermarket head unit I was able to finally listen to music, use an AUX cord, and use bluetooth if needed. You can watch install videos on Youtube for assistance, and the rest is pretty intuitive. The buttons are far from OEM standards, and are kind of cheap. You also can't hold down the temperature or fan power buttons to increase/decrease, you have to press them multiple times.
