Noice
Had narrowed down my system stability issues to cheap 1600mhz PNY ram (two kits of, (2x8 GB) diff timings per kit, Z97 Chipset, i7 4790k, Win 10) and after installing this Corsair kit all those issues I was having went away. Memory hogging applications seem to run much better. While it could always be the placebo effect, I genuinely feel I've noticed better performance and incredibly increased application stability. When I say performance however, I mean the little quirks of my rig that I notice when running different applications. In other words, usual hangups or performance issues were alleviated. The biggest pros to this set I have personally experienced: -System and application stability is leaps and bounds better compared to the memory I had installed prior. -Sexy; look at dem heatsinks....mmm. -When holding them it feels like a quality product. -Seemingly better all around function of my computer and software. -Cons -Honestly don't have any. It's worth the price in my opinion and if you're flexible in your budget for a new build or looking to upgrade, spend the extra money. I don't see how you'd go wrong with this kit, especially if you're not upgrading to the new DDR4/Skylake chipsets. Wish I would have just spent the money to begin with instead of cheaping out on junky memory.

great memory
I have always used corsair after other brands have let me down on my builds... my son used a set of dominator platinum in his last build and they are working fast.... strong... and no problem for 6 months now... picked a set up for me for my new build... they don't need the lights on the bar but it looks soooooooooooo good wish I could find a way to order in different colors as Corsair web site said its possible but has no link to them for a part number

Excelent memory running at 2400 MHz
The best price for this high end memory. The Corsair brand says it all. Pay special attention to the memory clock speed. There are other "Corsair Dominator Platinum" memories with lower clock speeds. The maximum clock speed for the memory that my new PC can handle is 2400 MHz and this is one of the few on the market running at this high speed.

Rock solid but couldn't over clock...
This is rock solid memory. I used it in a mega build with an Asus MAXIMUS VI FORMULA motherboard, I7-4770K, ASUS ROG RAIDR pci-e SSD. This beast is fast but only could overclock the CPU. Great performance on air-cooling (V8 GTS cooler master). The Asus MB is designed with overclocking down to timing the memory in every aspect. I gave it one less star because of the lack of overclock.

the best.
not a lot to be said other than the Corsair memory is definitely the best memory on the market today that being said I'm speaking of the Platinum Series memory been using the Platinum Series for quite some time and it has never let me down I am currently using this on my super home computer which is a core i7 4960 X backed up by 32 gigabytes of corsair platinum 32 gigabyte 2400 megahertz

Good, but not the best.
All 32 gb worked for a good 2 and a half months then the cpu pin on my board stopped working. Replaced it with another mobo, same problem. Figured it was the processor, but called Asus too see if what they thought. Found out 1 ram stick was bad. TL;DR Not worth the money, go with hyper Fury.

FAST fast FAST!!!
Related to another post about the motherboard where I inserted these: The first board I got had a problem with the memory controller. After I got everything set up I got an error code of 00 05 on the onboard LCD display. The manual listed that as a "no RAM present"-type error but I had installed a full 32 GBs. In the end, the A1 & A2 bank for the DDR3 chips would not recognize any combination of chips I inserted. ASUS's technical support, however, was quick to respond to my questions about ways to test the problems it seemed to be having and after only three exchanges admitted it was probably NOT a compatibility issue, but a defective memory controller and advised me to return the board. In the end with two of the four RAM chips working, though. . .I was able to test the rest of the system and even install Windows 8 before I got the last email from ASUS advising me to return the board. NOTE: The Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 2400 MHz (PC3-19200) chips I put into the B1 and B2 bank registered as 1333 MHz when the system finally recognized them. I had to use the MemOK! button to make that happen. It worked like a charm. Then, inside the CMOS (the fancy new one they've got) I set the unit to recognize them as OC-capable chips and the system was FAST!!! Very impressed. I'll do a follow-up once I get the new board with these chips in-place. I only downgraded them because Corsair NEVER RESPONDED to my request for a compatibility check. I'm still waiting. It's spooky to put chips that cost as much as these into a state-of-the-art system and see them register 1333 MHz instead of the rated 2400 MHz. Something needs to be done about that disparity.
