I was setting up a new tank so I could populate it with different colored shrimp and just a few fish (that won't eat shrimp!!) It was a very heavily planted tank with new substrate and no matter how careful I was, there obviously were things suspended in the water that kept the tank from being clear. I thought I would try this, and to my delight, it actually worked, and it worked overnight. I was really surprised. So now, I keep one of these pads in my filter medium so that it can continue to filter out the really, really small things in suspension. Great product. I highly recommend it.

This is easy to use - just drop it on the top of your filter medium. I've found it's really helped with algae control in my tank (in addition to regular water changes). My Dad actually recommended it and I've been using it ever since

My betta is spoiled and fussy....she lives in a Fluval Spec V and demands crystal clear water....I do a weekly change and now add this above the activated carbon in the filter system....it makes my water look like spring water. If you are fussy about your betta's water and want the same look you see from super expensive canister filters, this is it. Changes once every two weeks and works like a charm....it has my betta's seal of approval.

Difficult to know if this product really makes a difference in water clarity. My 32.5 gallon tank looks good and the Nitrate levels measure low / Nitrite level measures high. I change the filter every two weeks. Nest water change I'll try without the filter and see if there is any measurable difference.

These worked extremely well for clearing cloudy water in my 9 gallon tank.

I’ve had mixed results with this product. I’ve had packages that literally come apart at the seems letting out whatever chemical is inside. I am not certain if this is a result of a manufacturer’s defect or mishandling on behalf of the seller. In either case, I’m lucky the goop ends up on my hands as opposed to in my tank. I wouldn’t recommend this product as a result. It’s not sturdy enough to be handled.

Great product, works very well, excellent price.

They tear and sprinkle out easily. I wasted two. And the one I put in right did absolutely nothing for clearing the tank. A total waste of money.

I like this treatment

I had a really cloudy tank and after changing the way I changed the water. Adding this to the fluval flex 57 foam filter and using the fluval clear water treatment and the bio enhancer seems to be better. Not crystal clear yet but hopefully in time!

Secondo me non fa nulla!!

Used as part of the filer system in my tank. Easy to fit and seems to help keep the tank clean.
