I recommend this for people who don't tolerate Lactaid.My family and I always buy this. Store-bought kinds are far more expensive and contain mannitol and sorbitol which gives us stomach problems almost mimicking lactose intolerance itself.The pills are easy to chew, very little taste. Not at all easy to swallow whole.They work well but different people have different levels of lactose intolerance and different dairy products have different amounts of lactose. You may find that a different number of pills works better for you than someone else. If this doesn't seem to help you tolerate lactose, you're probably just not taking enough.

I get this one because it doesn’t have Mannitol in the inactive ingredient. Mannitol Is an osmotic laxative. Which is EXTREMELY unhelpful for they are trying not to have digestive issues.

Not all lactase enzymes work great These are fantastic. Have been using them for over a year now. Good quality and consistent.

This is the best value for Lactaids I have seen. They work well and don’t have a weird aftertaste. The only thing I will note is that it is easy to mistake getting the 3000 FCC vs the 9000 FCC. The 3000 FCC requires you to take multiple pills to have the same effect as taking one brand name pill.

Let me start by saying I have severe lactose intolerance. I know a lot of people that say “oh ice cream or milk makes my belly hurt”. That’s cute. I will destroy a toilet if there is even a hint of milk powder in a box of instant mashed potatoes.Now that we understand the severity of my allergy, let me tell you I have tried everything under the sun. Lactaid, CVS brand, Walgreens brand, Walmart brand, Amazon brands you name it. About two weeks ago (let’s call it 1/15/2023) I was out of meds and was looking for cheap options on Amazon because it’s so expensive. I found these which looked very skeptical to me but I was desperate and I am cheap so I ordered them.I read some reviews about some folks getting a belly ache from these so I proceeded with caution the first time. Usually take 2-3x the recommended does of lactaid for reference. So when I took this it suggested two pills and I took 3 to be on the safe side. I cannot believe how well these pills work! For the past two weeks I have been taking 3 pills with my meals and not once have I felt sick! This is crazy! If you have sever lactose intolerance please give this a try! Hopefully they don’t discontinue this as I have seen some others go away after time. Try this and stock up! You won’t be disappointed!!

The pills are 9,000...same as max strength Lactaid brand.Also same as equate fast acting strength, and berkley & jensen or kirkland max strength/fast acting dairy relief tablets.No flavor, just that chalky taste which is normal. I'd buy these again because they work, are quality product and a good value.They are a flattened oval shape and easy to chew, crush or tuck into your first bite of dairy to get all the relief you'll need!
