I have been taking the Nature's Answer brand of Boswellia, 400mg twice a day, for 1 week now. I started taking them on the day after I had run out a Norco prescription that an ER doctor prescribed to me. I was worried I might experience some withdrawals and cravings for the Norco since I had been using it for about 2 weeks to aid the severe back/rear pain I was experiencing. I have to say that in the week on the Boswellia, I have not had a single desire for painkillers, and I have not taken a single ibuprofen, naproxen, or tylenol! I am nothing short of amazed at how good I am feeling on the Boswellia. It is supposed to be good for inflammation, but I never imagined it would help even more than any of the other NSAIDs I've tried! I take one with lunch and one with dinner. This keeps me feeling good all day long. I notice that if my pain does start sneaking up on me again, it is right before dinnertime, and I just take my second dose of the day and my symptoms fade in no time. It is truly incredible. I have also experienced a distinct lack of anxiety or depression in the time I've been taking the Boswellia. An unexpected positive effect is the boost this seems to give my mood; it is a lot easier to be easygoing when you are not anticipating being in pain! I am going to recommend this to a friend with DDD, and if he's suspicious, I will offer to buy the bottle from him if it doesn't work.

My husband has Chrons and has opted not to take the normal, conventional, medication they offer today because of side effects. So I did some research on natural herbs and supplements that help. Let me tell ya he takes 1 of these faithfully every day and doesn't experience nowhere near the pain he use to. So now I keep him supplied in them. We've bought a few different brands and MG to figure out what works best for him and I think this will be the brand we stick with.

Tried this for my painful knees but it didn't work. Suffering from oral cancer I was going on hospice, then,I started taking 3-4 g/day Boswellia one month before starting immunotherapy ( Opdivo) because I had a lotof bottles laying around and I was desperate for anything. My spreading tumor started shrinking away 10 days after start of immunotherapy, now I am cancer-free.Possibly, Boswelliic acid's known inhibition of the tumor necrosis factor allowed for the migration of theOpdivo targeted T-cells to the tumor surface . If you are on a checkpoint inhibitor it maybe advantageousto add Boswellia to your cancer treatment regiment.

I can't say what the full benefits of this product are because after using it for a day or two, the heartburn is horrible. If you already have heartburn I would stay away from this. If you are a Vegan and don't eat fat, I would stay away from it. I know however, that some people do find it to have great benefits. I wish I could take it because of my osteoarthritis.

My rheumatologist recommended boswellia for arthritis pain, and it works! Took a while to build up, but it cuts the edge off the pain. I can't swallow large pills, so I have to mix the capsule contents with applesauce, per doctor. Isn't my favorite taste, but worth it! On my third bottle and I'll keep taking it!

This seemed to really work for me as an anti-inflammatory! I have knee and foot problems at times. Last weekend I was moving a lot of furniture to paint and get carpet installed which put pressure on my old knees and feet. I can end up lame the day after exerting myself like that, but I took this and was miraculously fine, even though I still had to do some walking the next day as part of my commute to work.

Ran out of these and taking forever to get them again.
