My sweet doggie LOVES this!
This dog food canned rabbit, is made in the US and sourced meat from US (I asked). My dog loves it and it appears to be a quality item of food for her. My only complaint was that the case was full of dented cans, but they were OK when I opened one. That would’ve been Amazons fault and not the company’s. Highly recommend otherwise.

Great food from a great company!
My ferrets love this food. Ferrets are obligate carnivores and need to be fed a grain-free diet. Yes, it isn't complete nutrition in that it lacks essential amino acids and some minerals, but since I also feed my fuzz butts raw chicken and Wysong Epigen 90 ferret kibble, I think I have all the bases covered! Bottom line; this is a key part of their nutritional plan and as a result, I have healthy, active ferrets with soft, glossy coats. I have Marshall ferrets, and since I switched to this feeding plan, most of my ferrets live to be 9 or 10 years old.

Not for Doggies with Allergies
I purchased this because my pup is on a single source protein diet of rabbit, per my Vet’s recommendation. I gave it to my pup & she loved it, but she had a reaction to it……itching & paw licking. So, I scheduled an appointment with her dermatologist so see what’s going on. The Vet said it was good except for the “natural flavoring”, & she said it could be any protein & recommended I discontinue giving it to.Anyway, Amazon won’t let me return it so I’m stuck with food I can’t use. My Vet recommended another brand that I’m going to purchase from a different retailer because I don’t want to get stuck again with food I can’t give my pup, nor will I give it to any other dog.

Very good, but not a complete diet
Application - 2 rescued cats (both Russian Blue mix, about 6 months old). I have had them for 2 weeks, and this food has been a part of perhaps 70% of their meals.Challenge - transition them from the shelter food towards a more biologically appropriate (i.e. carnivorous) diet.Action - read through the background on the Wysong website and several cat nutrition sites. I appreciated the general approach of using real cat food (i.e. rabbit) processed at low temperatures (cats do not cook their food).Result - they eat every last nibble. Interestingly, they did not gorge or binge eat. Instead, they came back several times.Side note - this is not a complete diet. According to Wysong, it is made of rabbit "trimmings" - parts that would otherwise be wasted from rabbits butchered for human consumption. This is the only reason that I omitted one start - there is no way to tell what exactly is missing in the nutritional content. The best way that I can describe the color and texture is ground beef that has been browned. It is not the pâté that you get in a typical can. After eating, let's just say that they seem to process it well - the litter box is not foul.Overall, I would say that this is can be part of a complete and nutritious diet. However, some supplementation would need to be accomplished to ensure that they are getting essential nutrients.

Good quality source of protein
I feed this to my ferrets and to my mom's dog who we found out is allergic to chicken. Ferrets love it and the dog's digestive issues has since resolved.

This is a Fantastic canned food!!!
A wonderful, superior canned food.. We top our dogs' kibble with this to make a healthier meal for them. We know kibble only is not a healthy diet!! So be sure and give your dog toppers of quality canned, raw, freeze-dried... anything real, but beware of table food if has cooked bones or wrong seasonings... salt, sugar, onion! No! raw bones are good for them!!

I am happy to say my girl is now yeast and itch-free
I am so very grateful to have found this food because my little Shih Tzu Poo is highly allergic to all protein, except rabbit. I add fresh veggies to each serving of Wysong Epigen Rabbit Canine/Feline/Ferret Canned Formula along with one patty of Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Rabbit Dog Food Dinner. After feeding her this for the last two months, I am happy to say my girl is now yeast and itch-free. YAY!Thank you Wysong, and thank YOU, Amazon for carrying this product!!!

mixed review
My cat loved this - however, turns out this may be because of some additive - yeast ?? same as all commercial cat foods that create an addictive response. Cat got severe diarrhea, again lily due to additives, or some impurity - can't be from rabbit, because she eats rabbits she catches in the yard
