I sing in a Dickens chorus and was on the hunt for the proper petticoat to wear under an era appropriate skirt. There are a lot of choices on Amazon--most are one size fits most. This petticoat has a nice comfortable waist made out of four-way stretch material. It has a double layer of fine netting with edges finished off in ribbon which is a nice touch. There’s also an under skirt to keep the net from scratching your legs. I am 5‘4“ tall, and I wear a size 12 to 14. This was the perfect length to go almost down to the floor without showing under the hem of the skirt. Well done!

I added this under a black maxi dress to give it lift and address a thigh high slit that is in the skirt of the dress. The poof was not too much and not too little. Not heavy or cumbersome & just the right length when pulled up to bust line (I used the slip part underneath my long line bustier which helped to slide it into position & keep it from digging in to me). Overall I feel the petticoat helped balance out my body outline and I felt pretty in my outfit.

It is fluffy and adds volume to a skirt. The fit is also accurate. However, it is a little itchy, and it had a slight smell when it arrived. After washing it and letting it air out, I think the smell is gone.

Great, fits perfectly. I wish it was a little more puffy but I think I can work it a little more to work. Definitely keeping it.

Perfect for my wedding dress and a fraction of the price compared to David’s Bridal. The length was perfect for me as I am a shorty.

Petite friendly! It is ankle length even for me, and I’m 5’1”. The waistband is pretty stretchy. The fabric is a bit stiff and not very smooth, but I think that’s just how crinoline is. I read there is ways to soften it, so I will try that. What I didn’t like is that some of the stitches were very loose and coming apart, and the inner skirt was a bit too narrow. But you get what you pay for.

Perfect petticoat. Not too much fluff but enough.
