Hard to choose what size!
The sturdiness and design of this flask are fantastic; a simple screw top rather than buttons or flippers that will fail eventually and are difficult to clean, and a finish that will surely get scratched and dented but will only add to its charm. What I really struggled with was knowing what size to go for! A 1L+ flask would usually be too bulky and heavy to consider for day trips, but because Sigg have made these so light, it’s now a serious option compared to the 750ml (which in turn feels like a slim 500ml flask).I ordered this one, then the 750ml as I worried it would be too big, but struggled to decide which to keep with them both in hand. There is very little between them in terms of size, although the 1.1L it is that bit heavier.Ultimately it came down to cup size: if you’re used to drinking mugs of tea (~240ml), the 1.1L flask comes closer to this at 170ml cup capacity, and you’ll get a bit over 6 cups out of it. The slimmer flask only has a cup capacity of 90mls, nearly half - so you’ll get 8 cups, but they’ll be tiny!I’m a bit of a camel; I go without drinking for ages, but then I want a decent-sized drink. Re-filling a tiny cup would annoy me, and lead to repeated opens which will cool the contents quicker. Decision made. But I wouldn’t hesitate to get a smaller model if space/weight were at a premium.

Excellent
I have a huge collecting of Sigg bottles now. They are great quality and the thermos bottles keep liquids warm for hours and hours.

Good but should be better.
An amazing thermal flask that can keep whatever undrinkably hot. That being said, the mug lid failed after the second wash. The plastic insert became disconnected from the metal casing.Surprisingly resilient to being fixed, both mastic and ca didn’t like it and i’m trying some evostick now. Not that i should have to, my other Sigg products are flawless.

Great Product
Fantastic product, keeps things warm for hours. Working out in -30C temps and kept drinks hot for more than 12 hours - and it was still too hot to drink!

Slimmer size but still with capacity. Excellent fitting screw in top does not pop out or leak.
I bought this to replace a bulky flask from a different manufacture, which also was unable to be screwed down properly without the top popping out again. I bought a Sigg as I already have a matching food flask with which I am very happy with. This 1.1l flask is good because despite still performing well, the insulation is thinner, meaning it fits in my bag easier, which was a problem with the more bulky design from an alternate manufacture. Also, more importantly, the top screws in properly and does not pop out of its own accord, so thus can be trusted fully to not leak in your bag, even if on its side.

Lightweight and Keeps your tea hot
I bought this from Amazon Warehouse as a return for fifteen quid. What I didn't know until it arrived is that it had a dirty great dent on the bottom. You obviously take your chances sometimes buying from warehouse. It does make me wonder about it's long term durability though. I'd love to know how the dent happened! However, regarding the functionality, it's great. I bought it for the mountains in winter and for surf trips, and the drink stays hot for ages. Also, the pouring lid is dribble free. I've got the black one, and the finish is already shabby after a few days use. If I was paying full price I'd buy the unpainted version for sure.

Outer metal layer thin as paper, bends easily
I loved the thermo bottle until i discovered a spot a bent damaged part on the bottom of it, and i do not remember ever dropping it or having any impact on it. And i only used for couple weeks. Anyway, the outer layer turned out to be as thin as paper, don't be fulled by it looking so rigid like steel. It is probably steel, but an extremely thin layer of it, that nullifies its strength as a material.

Great buy!
Keeps my orange juice cold very well. The cup holds 2 ounces. I use the orange juice for protein shakes I take during the day at work.

Nifty
Love it. Works as intended. I'm was a little sad because mine arrived with a scuff on it. Wanted to put the thermos to use so didn't return. Was happy I had it.
