These are great. I use them at hose bibs and sprinkler systems for repair of valves.

My builder didn't install any type of bypass for my pool heater. I had to remove it for repairs and couldn't leave the pool off for a week. These were not hard to install and work fine. This is what builders use. You'll need three...heater in, heater out, and bypass.

This is a beautifully made 2" Schedule 40 PVC ball valve. It turns reasonably easily and I'm not a strong person. It requires PVC solvent and cement to install, not to mention 2" sched 40 pvc pipe, which I thought I ordered but it turned out to NOT be Schedule 40 pipe .I had to make a rush trip to the nearest hardware store to buy a short piece for this job. And it is possibly the best plumbing job I've ever done and I do quite a bit as we have a pool and I'm the pool boy :)

Works as expected

This is a very good valve but I find it sticks and is hard to open from the closed position. I attempted silicone spray and found no difference. Aside from that, it works as it should. -1 star for the sticking.
