This Barbie is beautiful. The detail on the face and the dress is outstanding. It was worth the price and what they advertise is what you get. I also love the box that it comes in.

My first Barbie purchase for 2019. The doll was shipped from Amazon in the original shipper from Mattel. The doll's box arrived in great condition. The artwork on the box is beautiful. The doll is Black Label based on Mattel's labeling system. I paid retail price for this doll, and I would recommend to wait for Mattel to restock this doll and pay $75 or less. The doll's dress is embroidered, but the part of the dress that flares out is printed (not embroidered). The doll does come with a stand. The base of the stand is hollow, but still supports the weight of the doll. I love how colorful this doll is. If you love the Day of the Dead theme and/or celebrate the holiday, I encourage you to buy this doll. She’s a wonderful addition. Different than the typical fashion doll, but very appropriate and a beautiful tribute as the “Día de Muertos” Barbie. The Barbie Designer, Javier Meabe, did an amazing job! On my particular doll, I did undo the braids and changed her hairstyle as seen in the photo I have shared.

I have been wanting this doll since it came out. However it sold out quickly and people began selling it for over $200 for something that was only $75 originally. Hubby trued to buy it for me around Christmas time though the price was too much. Never got it but that vendor took our money. Amazon was awesome and refunded the money. I was looking on Amazon for no reason in particular and wouldn't you know it this doll pops up for uner $70 (shipping was over $20 though)! Hubby said get it now lol. Not only was this a great price it came on time! Was a little worried about it possibly being a fake....but was happy to be proved wrong. This is just as pictured and so beautiful. Im not a doll collector but this one just spoke to me. I couldn't be happier. This vendor took such care in the packaging. I was highly impressed. Very much recommended.

To start with: This doll was listed for pre-order in March for $75.00. As a long time Barbie collector I had high hopes for this doll and put my pre-order in sight unseen . I got it for 75.00. When it arrived as promised I was VERY impressed and quickly ordered a second one again for $75.00. Now its sold out everyone and the price people have on her now is through the roof! I have seen some posts confused on the list price $75 versus what she is available for. Again she was listed for $75 but she was gone so fast she is now going for triple that on the secondary market. That is what happens in the collectible world. Now for the review: Gorgeous doll! It honors the tradition of Dia de Muertos. The face screen is well done. The colors on the dress are much brighter than the still photo shows. And the BOX is fantastic! After a couple years of mediocre dolls Barbie hit it out of the park on this one!

I wanted this Barbie Dia De Muertos Doll last year when it first came out and the cost was less than $100. I was on the Mattel "notify when available list". NO matter when they let me know it was available I could not get her. She is absolutely everything I thought she would be. The inner packaging was intact & brand new. The outer packaging however was beat up, I was afraid it might have damaged the actual product, it did not. I am not at all disappointed with what I paid for her, she is absolutely worth it.

This doll is atmospheric, interesting and very unusual! It is a worthy thing for a true collector! The quality of the product is very high! The doll looks very beautiful into the box. The product was delivered in its original packaging, the box is not damaged. I am very pleased! I advise you to purchase it if you are still in doubt!

Se nota la delicadeza y la calidad en cada detalle de la muñeca: esta preciosa! El vestido de verdad esta bordado con mucho cuidado (y el diseño esta padrisimo), pero lo que mas me impresionó fue la corona de cempasúchil. El pintado de la cara muy fino, las mariposas monarca...hasta la caja en la que viene la muñeca esta genial! Esta es la primer muñeca de edición especial que compro y de verdad lo vale. Cuando leí que saldría esta Barbie la verdad que no sabía que pensar porque el día de muertos se ha comercializado muchísimo y a veces sin cuidar el verdadero significado de la tradición, pero decidí arriesgarme y comprarla para regalarsela como colección a mi sobrina, que precisamente vive fuera de México, y la verdad es digna de enorgullecerse. Excelente compra (y lo mejor: la ordené con tiempo al precio de venta regular)

I've recently started collecting Barbie dolls and this one is a true highlight of the collection! It's stunning! Couldn't be happier with it. There's so much detail, it's beautifully made!

Having not collected a doll before, I have no idea as to whether the value is good, but I'm pleased with it. I bought this doll to go with Mexican art pieces and memorabilia and it fits in perfectly. The detail is so well done on this doll that Barbie turned out to be the centerpiece of the collection. Well shipped and packed, it came in perfect condition.
